Ninh Binh Travel Guide | Hanoi to Ninh Binh 2023
Ninh Binh Travel

The landscape features lush green rice fields and stunning limestone caves. The time it takes to explore these areas is relatively brief; for instance, if you head towards the school, you can find a place to hide in about five minutes. Hanoi is about 94 kilometers away, with travel times varying from one and a half to two hours based on your mode of transportation. Buses generally cost around 500 VND, while private taxis can go up to about 1,400 VND.
Good morning, everyone. We're currently at a location with various caves. The Mua caves are a popular spot for visitors. At every stop, I find myself wanting to take photos. You have two paths to choose from: one leads to a temple and the other towards the dragon. I’m more intrigued by the dragon while my companion, Leslie, opts for a different route. You can also go boating, which allows you to explore the caves more closely.
Right now, we are at the top of Mua Cave. The trek has been fulfilling, and I recommend visiting Huak-ei. After enjoying the morning, we’re heading to a new hotel called Tham Boutique Hotel. We plan to take a boat ride in Trang An later. Our first impression of the hotel is that it’s beautiful, tidy, and well-organized. One highlight is the breakfast, where you have the option to select specific meals rather than a buffet. Altogether, it's a great place to stay, reasonably priced, and located just outside the city center, allowing you to soak in the Ninh Binh atmosphere.
We’re now making our way to the boat station, ready for an exciting three-hour ride. We’ve chosen route number two, which takes us through four main caves and three temples. This seems like a balanced option, and the boat ride can last until about six or seven in the evening. Onboard, we’re enjoying the company of a lovely couple, Christopher and Anu, who are also sharing this experience with us.
Despite the rain, it's enjoyable to have an umbrella while taking in the scenery. The hotel is stunning and feels like something out of a dream. I sometimes wonder if my recordings do justice to the beauty around me, as I aim to convey the same vibe to you. This place is truly gorgeous and worth a visit. The experience has been wonderful, and I highly recommend it if you're in Vietnam. We were fortunate to have an amazing day and meeting new people has been a highlight.
We visited a place called Rico Taco Mex Bar and Grill, known for its authentic food. We met some locals and had a nice chat, enjoying our time in Vietnam. This is day eight of our trip, and I’m eager to connect with others and share conversations along the way.
