New Skills in a Day

One day I was reading the Bible and I came across these beautiful words that changed my perspective on a few things.

Isaiah 55:11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Imagine the beauty of what this means to us, when God blesses us then we are blessed. When God heals us then we are healed. The word of God has power more than we can ever think or imagine. Lets have a look at this amazing word of God.

Exodus 35:30 Then Moses said to the Israelites, “See, the Lord has chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, 31 and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills— 32 to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, 33 to cut and set stones, to work in wood and to engage in all kinds of artistic crafts. 34 And he has given both him and Oholiab son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach others. 35 He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers—all of them skilled workers and designers.

Many times we may think that what we know is because of our hard work. Good at reading books, a perfect or close to perfect memory. All I know is that I am good at it, because I work hard or work smart. But according to this word of God, it's quite clear to see that it's God who is in control. God has gifted us with the ability to do what we do.

What a privilege we have from God.

In Exodus 36:1 So Bezalel, Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the Lord has given skill and ability to know how to carry out all the work of constructing the sanctuary are to do the work just as the Lord has commanded.”

Having the knowledge that God can teach us all that we need to know and not only that, God can as well teach us to teach others. That is mind blowing for me. That you can wake up one day and know and understand things to perfection that you could not do before and become a teacher at it.

Doing it with Jesus, like David, the King. Who was a shepherd and yet God made him the king for His people. And gave him victory whenever he went.

Joseph was with God in all that he did. While in slavery, he was favoured and even his was master was blessed because of Joseph. When Joseph was in prison, he was made a leader in prison because God was with Him.

Solomon the son of David was another person to have been transformed by the word of God in his dreams. God said what you have asked for I give to you and none other will be like you and none has been like you before now. What wonder that God brings to us as His children.

Am quite encouraged now to rise my hope in Christ for His amazing works in our lives. For what God cannot do, does not exists. I encourage you my friend in Christ, to look into your life and what gifts God has given you and use them for His glory in your life.
