Ocean Ice Cream
Summer is the ocean for me. You step outside and your skin immediately heats, the space of a breath all you get before your back is slicked with wet, humidity or sweat hard to gauge. Walking out of the house barefoot in the same careless way you like to the rest of the year results in the bottoms of your feet burning, even if you run to the safety of the grass on the tops of your feet, trying to touch the asphalt as little as possible. As a child with my mother the beach was a carefully planned excursion; chairs and cooler and bag with sunscreen, towels, and change of clothes all carefully tetris'd into the trunk, the day begun early. Older and with my father, it began groggily, irritable in the face of any prodding, parking further away and something usually forgotten at home.

Through the Eyes of a Virginia Coaster Enthusiast: Dollywood Review
Dollywood is an amusement park located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, in the Smokey Mountain regions of the United States. This park has been on my bucket list since 2013, one of the earliest of my coaster enthusiast years, and almost a decade later, I finally was able to make a trip to this park. I can already say after first impressions, this is perhaps the second most beautiful theme/amusement park I've had the privilege to visit, only behind Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Once you have arrived in London, there are assorted places that you should, you really should, go and see. A good starting place is Trafalgar Square with Nelson’s Column right in the centre. It is a 51m column, poised on top of which is the hero of the Battle of Trafalgar, who was killed while winning in 1805. The four lions which surround the column are of more recent date, having been sculpted by Sir William Landseer in 1868. There are many claimants to being the heart of London, but Trafalgar Square has the best right, because it is the hub of so much that is wonderful.
