The mountain of knowledge
In my opinion, one goal in life is to reach the apex of the mountain of knowledge. But we all seem to be in a rush to attain this, and all following the same path that has been laid down for centuries. But we must also remember that life is more about the journey than it is the destination. You may be saying to yourself "but there are many paths that go up this mountain." And you are right in thinking so, but generally once one has chosen a path that is the one they stick to.

Renaissance Humanism
The subject of art throughout the ages has been an evolving study by art historians and archaeologists. Discoveries from the Upper Paleolithic to the Neolithic, often considered artifacts rather than art, have slowly transitioned in importance and relevance to the art world. Following this historic period, Christianity played a role in much of the artwork found in churches and cathedrals beginning with the Early Christian period through the Early Medieval and then Gothic periods. This art was meant to instruct, inspire, and offer a way of life for the illiterate audience. This time of visual instruction soon changed; transitioning from a medieval world to the age of Renaissance.

At One Point, These Two Theme/Amusement Parks Weren't So Different
Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson Township, New Jersey, and Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia, are two amusement/theme parks in the Mid-Atlantic that garner much deserved attention from coaster enthusiasts, each with its own different reasons. When you mention Kings Dominion, people instantly think of the ultra-intense, high g-pulling, gray/blackout-inducing Intimidator 305, or perhaps the RMC (Rocky Mountain Construction) conversion of former wooden coaster Hurler, that is now Twisted Timbers. Now, bring up Six Flags Great Adventure, and people think of the Intamin pre-fabricated wooden coaster featuring tons of airtime and hairpin turns that is El Toro, or perhaps the tallest (and second fastest) roller coaster in the world, Kingda Ka.

Why do Art Galleries and Exhibitions Make Such a Difference?
Art has always had a close relationship with human existence, serving to express a wide range of emotions and challenges. These pieces of art can be found in art galleries, and they tell about mankind's history and stories in a variety of ways. The true goal of these venues is to nurture the artistic community's spirit and culture while also encouraging them and addressing societal challenges. What’s the value of an artwork in a locked room unless it can be seen by the general public? An art gallery serves as a medium for artists and the general public to interact.
