Reindeer Hunt, East Iceland
After two weeks in Iceland, my final week was spent in the Eastern Mountains with my Workaway host and a few of his friends hunting reindeer. My host had been waiting five years for this and finally, this year, he won the lottery to hunt reindeer.

Decline of a Dream
A Founder's Dream In October 1966, two months before his death, Walt Disney outlined his dream for a Living Community of the future as the centerpiece of his planned "Disney World" project in the swamps of Central Florida. Walt referred to this dream project as EPCOT, for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. It would be an idealized city of the future with innovative transportation systems and all sorts of facilities designed with the public's needs in mind.

Waking the Senses

Sorrento
Our family holiday this year landed us in the beautiful country of Italy, after many years of wanting to visit we finally booked our holiday to the destination of our dreams. After a short flight of 2 and a half hours and an hour transfer we finally arrived in the beautiful of Sorrento. Stunning would be an understatement and we were all eager to explore and soak up the sun.

Spooky in Salem
Every October, we make a point to drive out to Massachusetts and visit the Witch City. A place well adorned with witchy artwork and spooky attractions to lure tourists into spending maybe just-a-little-too-much money. This being our third year, we have found our favorite spots. Some may say this vacation sounds a bit redundant, but to us, it's comfort.
