Best Spring Break Destinations for Families
As the father of a seven year-old, I love family travel. If you live in the Northeast or the Midwest, by the time January reaches its chilly conclusion, you’re probably already thinking about the perfect spring break destination. Most school vacations take place in early March, when there’s still about a month left of winter. If you’re lucky enough to live in the United States, there are plenty of family-friendly, budget-friendly spring break destinations on both coasts. I’ve got ten that are perfect for your family spring break, in no particular order, mostly because I’d love to do all of them!

Who Am I?
I often get asked if I consider myself more French or German. Having a German mother and a French father, I have been raised in between two cultures. I was born in France but lived most of my life in Germany. I went to a French school in Berlin so my education was based on the French teaching approach. I was mostly surrounded by German and French students and was also exposed to many international pupils. When I was living in Berlin, I used to look at myself as a typical French. However, the more I came back to France, the more I started realising I was not as French as I thought. Funny enough, I began considering myself as French when being in Germany and German when staying in France. After all, I was both, I could choose and it made me feel special, part a small group, different from most friends. But sometimes confused or isolated.

Three Reasons Why Going to a Summer Camp Can Literally Change Your Life
I want to start off by saying I'm completely biased to the camp I've been attending since I was seven, but I'm sure that all camps have a great experience, and are special in their own way.

How to Visit California on a Budget
A few months back in August I found out that one of my favorite artists, Eric Clapton, would be playing his very last concert at The Forum in LA. Due to me living in Austin TX, airfare and hotel stays would have been outrageous if I were to fly out and stay in a hotel just for the concert. So we had to do some real research on the best way to make my concert, while still getting the full California experience and staying within my budget...

Through the Eyes of a Traveler
Standing at the airport and saying goodbye to my home was one of the hardest moments I've ever experienced. Waiting to board my flight to Seoul, South Korea I looked at my mother's tear filled eyes and felt so scared, sad, excited, proud, regretful. I was ready to start this new life, so why was I so hesitant?

Top Ten Tips for Disneyland Trips. Top Story - January 2018.
Disneyland. I love it. I hate crowds, and screaming children, and being run over by strollers, and to be honest, the guys in the suits creep me out a bit, but I absolutely love the madness that comes with visiting "The Happiest Place on Earth." I love the smell of kettle corn when you get off the tram. I love the sound of Disney music piped into Main St. USA. I just love all of it. I've had year passes to Disneyland off and on for a long time and there was a period of time I was going with my S.O. 4-5 times a week. Needless to say, I learned some pretty awesome tips and tricks. Now, I want to share my experience with you so that if you go to Disneyland, even if it is just for one day, you can maximize your time there and try to preserve your sanity. These tips and tricks are primarily geared for summer visits because that is when the park gets most of its guests, but much of it applies year round. Note: I am not affiliated with Disney. This is not an official Disney post. Disney did not pay me for this post. Not all photos are from Disneyland Anaheim, some are from other locations. I am just a crazy fan.

Trip to Austin, TX While on a Budget
Me and my best friend Priscilla decided to go on a super spontaneous trip to Austin, TX even though we were SO broke! We both had roughly $300 each so we knew we'd have to watch what we did. We sort of had it planned out but partially we were winging everything the whole time.

I Am a Wanderer
I grew up in a very small town somewhat like the scene of The Simpsons. A town where most people work at the power plant, not that there is anything wrong with that—it just wasn't in the vision I had hoped for myself. I so desperately wanted out of that small town for so many years as I felt trapped in a little bubble just waiting to burst out. My family situation didn't make it much easier±but I'll save that for another post.

Best Free Travel Apps to Download Right Now
Everybody seems to have an app these days, or is working on an app that is going to make everything much easier. While many of these apps are a waste of time, which is natural given that there are millions of the things, the travel apps are a completely different story. Travel apps can be incredibly useful for finding flights, checking traffic, and finding the cheapest hotels.

Luxurious Lavender
If you find yourself in the Wairarapa in January treat yourself to an outing that will indulge the senses. Located on the outskirts of Carterton, Lavender Abbey is part of a seven-acre lifestyle property belonging to Stuart and Jan Abernethy. They started the plantation after they moved to the Wairarapa in 2008 and fell in love with lavender and its huge range of uses. They have over 2,000 plants and lavender cultivation starts in Spring (September in New Zealand) and finishes in February with an annual crop of around 700kg of flowers. These are made into essential oil (that they have won awards for) and they then use the oil in a range of their own handcrafted products from soap, lotions and creams to wood polish.

Camp America
I applied for Camp America 2017 because I wanted to see the world after I graduated from school in June. The programme is perfect because you have the chance to meet awesome people and work with them, upgrade your soft skills, and also travel around America. Since I’m from Germany, I also wanted to improve my English skills, and I thought this could be an excellent opportunity for it.
