The Idea of Travel
At times, individuals may feel the urge to leave home for reasons other than work, or to run errands. It is always a good idea to step outside to enjoy the sunshine and soft breeze in the air. First Trip to Nicaragua
Spring break 2018, I had the opportunity of going to Nicaragua on a service learning trip. I have always been a travel fanatic. I LOVE to travel. Did anyone say road trip? count me in! I would spend my last dime on traveling if I could. Once I found out about the trip, I was so excited. I started Spanish lessons and started learning about the culture and people. I also started saving for my trip. It was a group of ten students and three facilitators. It took us an entire day to get there. I had a long trip to Nicaragua. Once I walked out of the airplane I felt at home. The humidity, the smiling faces; it felt so good to be in another country. Being greeted with a warm heart and unfamiliar faces. My plan before arrival was to indulge in all things Nicaraguan. We arrived in the night and we got to stay in a luxurious hotel. The next day I got to eat some local food which was so good. The food, culture, and environment were so refreshing.

Salamancas' Forgotten Town
I have been told that I have a gypsy soul. This is a phrase and a name that I like. This is because I have an insatiable desire to explore and discover new places. It's hard to imagine ever staying in one place for a long time and not going off to find what lies undiscovered somewhere else. My fiance and I like to explore new places. We like to stumble across places where it appears no human has ever gone before. We also like to come across places where people used to live but for some reason have deserted the area. We found such a place on a recent driving trip through Spain.

Stockholm on a Budget
My husband and I just made an unexpected trip to Stockholm this past weekend. I needed to get a new Residency Permit Card after receiving a permanent residency and Gothenburg (nearest migration agency) was booked until after the summer. So queue an impromptu trip when we didn't have the money saved up. We knew that if we went, we were going to stay for the weekend.

Travel Hacks That Will Save You Time and Money
Travelling is wonderful. It is my favourite thing to do, but my god does it end up being expensive if you haven’t planned it correctly. I once booked a one-way ticket to Norway with the idea of traveling around the country with nothing planned. It was the best experience of my life. It was also the most expensive. Being sporadic is great, but I wish I had done some of these things before that trip to make it more financially viable and also so I could have stayed longer!

Ancient Civilization Within a Modern World
First some advice prior to departing your hometown; If you happen to be a social media addict like myself make sure and download a VPN so that while in China you can access your social media. Also, I would advise you look into downloading a translator app for your phone so that communication will be made a lot easier.
