What makes the good times special
It was beginning to get dark as my friends and I made our way to the car park after a session at the gym when one of my pals beside me pointed up toward the indigo sky streaked with hues of graying clouds. All of a sudden, I had a sudden desire to take a photo of the scene.

Multi-Cultural Experiences (MCE's)
Multi-cultural Experiences (MCEs) Experience is what a person’s been through, encounters, or lives through (Albarracin, Johnson, Zanna, & Kumkale, 2005) and consists of not only sensory cognition's, but also processes of interaction with people from different cultures (Rogoff, 2003). Multi-cultural experience (MCE) refers to the total of individual’s experiences interacting with foreign cultures or cultures within one country (Leung, Maddux, Galinsky, & Chiu, 2008) and the exposures to cultures that are different from their own (Dong, Day, & Collaco, 2008). As the experiences in multi-cultural context increases the implications in our personal, social, and occupational lives also increases, thus MCEs play a vital part in constructing one’s interest in several fields, such as cross-cultural psychology, diversity, and management research with the past and current exposures to and interactions with different cultures and people (Aytug, Kern, & Dilchert, 2018).

Rising
Rising. I always wanted the window seat, whether on a van en route to our gig or the plane, flying to our next city. To me, the greatest fun of touring was seeing the people, the architecture, the landscapes. I love every concert I’ve been allowed to participate in, but when nature puts on a show, I find that that show is unmatched.

Shine On, Shining Mountains
When I first started my week-long backpacking trek at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico, I really had no idea what to expect. I had heard incredible stories about people’s experiences in the shining mountainous backcountry of the “Land of Enchantment”, but each account was unique in it’s own way. Come day one of my journey, I began to realize that this entire trip was making out to become something very special! Over the entirety of the trek, I was transformed into a completely different person; the once self-doubting and reserved me gained newfound faith and courage in myself, and I realized that I can truly do anything I put my mind to.

My Review of Meow Wolf: Santa Fe
Throughout my life I always had this weird recurring dream where I was in an unfamiliar house and I had to climb and crawl through tight secret passages. Each passage led to another dimension. After visiting Meow Wolf in Santa Fe, New Mexico, I wondered if this was a common dream others have, much like those dreams where you're naked in public. Because this house was a physical embodiment of those dreams I have from time to time.

This Happened In Vegas
Living in Las Vegas, Nevada since 2004, the above is a first. I’ve seen every size, nationality and color of Elvis Presley walking the strip, entertaining on Fremont Street posing for pictures and officiating marriages. There are beautiful show girls everywhere. Freemont Street is filled with vendors and tourists who don’t want the hustle and bustle of the strip. Also, the casinos are very close in proximity of each building and this is easier for lots of seniors to navigate visiting each casino. As most are aware, almost all casinos on the strip each individually cover a couple of blocks; and almost always very crowded. Downtown Vegas is a much more chilled atmosphere and seemingly caters to seniors and the disabled.

Wonderlust
What happens when you look at the map?... you start realizing all the places you haven't been to, all the places you haven't seen, all the people you haven't met, all the pictures you haven't taken. Well that is exactly what I think anyways... Every time I take a look at a map or a globe my mind starts to wonder, it wonders what i would do in each place I set my eyes on, what kind of food they would have, what do their streets smell like??

Alone Together
Travelling solo rarely equates to being alone; as I’m sure you’ve heard before. You may begin alone but you forge friendships quickly in hostels, through Couchsurfing, Workaway or just chatting with a beer on a beach somewhere. So often you form fast and real bonds with people that endure whatever time they are meant to endure.

The Green behind the Gold
My home is the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia about an hour's drive from the state capital of Brisbane. It is a major tourist destination for Australians because of its magnificent stretches of beach, glorious weather, shopping, theme parks and nightlife.
