The Start
I think we can all agree that COVID-19 is the absolute worst. A virus that came into existence less than a year ago has changed life as we know it. It's safe to assume that none of us view life the same way we did eight months ago. COVID-19 has made me completely re-examine my ideals and I can say, with absolute certainty, that I have absolutely no idea what this whole "life" thing is even about.

The Small-Town City
You know you’re in Adelaide when you go out with your mum for a coffee and the barista at the café down the road is somehow related to your best friends’ fiancé. Adelaide is tiny (if you can consider a city of 1 million people small). People will know people who know people who know you and it can be a bit stifling. This small-town mentality, this interconnectedness, is rife throughout the city and its culture.

The beginning
Well, we have to start from the beginning, which is the day I left Washington State on February 22, 2017. With a 40L backpack, no real plan, and no intentions of returning. I was in such disbelief when I packed my backpack and was on the way heading to the airport. It was such a surreal feeling. Knowing this is everything you have ever wanted, but terrified of the unknown. So after going through security and boarding the plane, I sat down and realized there was no one else on this plane. I won the lottery that day the whole cabin was empty. I can say this was the best flight I have ever had in my life. I slept over all three chairs, stretching in the aisle, plus the amazing flight attendants. Being up amongst the clouds seeing the world from a whole new perspective. I had a sense of knowing I was on the right path, and I have never looked back.

Captivating Greece
Oh, My Goodness I was in Greece, I still couldn't believe I was no longer in Asia. Exploring a whole new place. I was spreading my wings and flying off while being mindful of my thoughts and manifesting my dreams. Flying to Athens was one of the worst flights I have ever experienced. I admit I booked this flight since it was an affordable price. But, this company has no in-flight entertainment, as well as food and drinks, which are all at an expense. Let me tell you it isn't a quick flight this flight was 12-hours. I would suggest Scoot if you want a cheap flight. But, be self-prepared with snacks and entertainment.
