The Indian state of Himachal Pradesh has the Indrahar Pass in the midst of the districts of Kangra and Chamba. The Indrahar Pass Trek is 14,245 feet (4,340 meters) high. Indrahar Pass is a thrilling trip that begins close to the Uttarakhand border in Himachal Pradesh, India, along the Dhauladhar Himalayas' scarp ridge. Stunning vistas of the Dhauladhar mountain range, which includes Mani Mahesh Kailash summit, may be seen from the Indrahar Pass Trek. The Indrahar Pass is 35 kilometers long overall. May to June

Temperature: After winter, the weather starts to warm up in May and June. At lower altitudes, daytime temperatures can vary from 10 degrees Celsius to 15 degrees Celsius, and even at higher elevations they can drop to 0 degrees Celsius or below.

Conditions: Lush, lush grounds and blooming rhododendrons greet spring. The weather is beautiful and the roads are clear, making it an ideal time of year for travel.

July to August

Temperature: July and August are rainy months and the average temperature during the day can range from 15 degrees Celsius to 20 degrees Celsius.

Conditions: The rainy season brings heavy rain, which makes the roads slippery and potentially dangerous. Hiking is not recommended during this period due to the high chance of landslides and difficult road conditions.

September to October

Temperature: Fall officially begins in September and October. Temperatures range from 10 degrees Celsius to 15 degrees Celsius during the day, although at higher elevations they can drop to 5 degrees Celsius at night.

Conditions: The Indrahar Pass trek is more enjoyable in the monsoons. The views are spectacular thanks to lush fall foliage and the climate is stable with clear skies.

November to December

Temperatures: As winter approaches, daytime temperatures can vary from 5°C to 10°C in November, dropping further to -5°C to 5°C in December Nights are cold, and often occur lower than the cold.

Conditions: Snow is possible in late fall and early winter, especially at higher elevations. Proper hiking equipment at this time of year is essential, including warm clothing and hiking shoes with good grip.

How To Reach

McLeod Ganj, often known as "Little Lhasa," is a paradise that is close to Dharamshala. This is a place that people frequently visit throughout the summer. It's a well-known tourist location.

By Flight: Gaggal Airport is the nearest airport to Mcleodganj. Some airlines have very few flights that service Mcleodganj. Thus, another airport that is closest to this location is Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport. From Delhi, one may travel by bus to get here.

By Road: Regular buses, both commercial and government-run, go between Chandigarh and Delhi to McLeodganj. Additionally, Dharamshala and McLeodganj have direct connections to other national cities.

By Train: The closest train station is Pathankot Railway Station. You may take a taxi or bus from the station to McLeodganj.
