Disney California Adventure Rides I Could Live Without

Could you live without these too?

There are so many amazing and fun attractions to go on at Disney California Adventure park.

To be honest though, there are a few rides I could live without at California Adventure. This doesn’t mean I hate all of these rides, they just don’t necessarily add to the magic for me.

I'll give you our list and explain myself with each one.

1. Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters

This Cars Land ride is really cute and plays fun, lively music. I love the bright colors of the cars you ride in too.

I get nauseous easily though and, unfortunately, this ride makes me nauseous. Otherwise, I would love riding it!

2. Golden Zephyr

I don’t really have anything against the Golden Zephyr attraction. My problem with it is that it’s frequently closed.

I don’t think I’ve ever actually gone on the ride, or if I have it was so long ago that I don’t even remember it.

So this one makes the list because it’s kind of annoying that it’s always closed and not even an option to ride it.

I’d rather go on the Silly Symphony Swings any day!

3. Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree

I want to love this attraction because Mater is my favorite Cars character. This rides jerks you around though and I did not enjoy riding it.

I went with my son who was 2 years old at the time and I was so worried the whole time that I was going to smash him as we whipped around. So, it’s a no for me.

4. Goofy’s Sky School

This is a ride that I actually do hate and you cannot pay me to go on.

I think it’s freaky! It looks like a nice little ride for kids, but the way it turns on those sharp turns is not enjoyable!

It makes you feel like you’re about the go straight off the ride, then you turn at the last second and it jerks you around.

This is not my idea of a fun ride!

5. Grizzly River Run

I don’t like to get wet on rides, so based on that alone, this ride is out for me.

I actually do like this ride, but I can’t stand being wet after, so it’s not worth it to me.

I think the only way I could do it is if I rode it as my last ride and I was staying at the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

The Grand Californian has an entrance to California Adventure that is right by Grizzly River Run, so if I was staying there then I could get to my room quickly and get some new clothes on.

Your Turn

I'd love to hear from you! Could you live without these rides? Any rides you'd add to the list?
