The trend of solo female travellers increasing would have probably doubled if not for the Covid-19 spread however as the vaccination drive catches up, we will see that female travel is a booming space.

Allison & Danielle (Dallison as they call each other fondly) started WHOA (Women High on Adrenaline) in 2013 after leaving their full time jobs to pursue their one true love "Travel". 2) Wander Womaniya (Based in New Delhi, India):

They are based out of India and if you want to visit exotic destinations like Maldives, Bali, Turkey, Greece, Sri Lanka, Nepal and India on a budget; you can contact them. Lesbianas Viajeras is doing some exceptional work by helping gay women travel. They are based in Spain and cater mainly to inbound tourists i.e. female tourists visitng spain. Spain is certainly one of our favorite countries to travel so we are not complaining. Do you know Spain is the most visited country in the world?

Lesbianas Viajeras will help you with cultural trips ,guided tours, food walks and mostly anything that you want to do in Espana. They are well versed in French, English & obviously Spanish.

5) Wild Women Expeditions (Based in Canada)

WWE or Wild Women Expeditions organizes events for women who love outdoor adventures, they believe that irrespective of age there is some or the other adventure which you can enjoy. They organize Girls Golden Circle Riding Adventure for girls between the age of 8 - 14, most other tours need the women to be between the age of 15 - 55. One can experience adventure excursions involving canoe trip or kayaking or cycling etc.

6) Sisterhood Womens Travel (Based in Australia)

SWT or Sisterhood Womens travel facilitates connections among like minded female all across Australia & New Zealand. They believe in making lifelong experiences for you rather than simply offering a trip. They claim to have personally stayed in every accommodation which they choose for their voyages. 7) Zebra Adventures (Based out of South Africa)

Why call a women tour company as Zebra adventures? So every stripe on a zebra loos similar or same to naked human eye but each one of them is unique and that is exactly women are. Every woman is special in her own way and needs recognition & freedom. Founded by Janettie Wucherpfennig Zebra adventure's trips have certain standard features like small intimate groups of up to 10 women, comfortable itineraries, touch of class & finesse, 24 hour female doctor on call, to do & packing guides and unexplored destinations.

8) Wild Terrains (Based out of Buenos Aires - Argentina)

Women amplify each other that's what Lauren Bates of Wild Terrains believes in. Interestingly they organize "womxn" trips to destinations in Portugal, Argentina & Mexico only. They welcome women across all age groups, all body types without racism, xenophobia, transphobia, homophobia and ableism.

9) Solo Female Travellers Club (Based out of Singapore)

Solo Female travellers club started as a Facebook group when Mar Pages and Meg Jerrard who met at a conference in 2015 has now transformed into a community of more than 90 thousand women travellers and they have started organizing experiential trips to destinations like Tanzania, Sudan, Iceland, Barcelona, Mongolia and many more. Quite a journey ain't it? They are on a mission to empower 10,000 womxn to travel solo, safely on their own terms.

10) 3 Sisters Adventure Trekking (Based out of Nepal)

These three sisters are certified female trekking guides since 1994. Nepalese society being quite conservative they broke the shackles and were probably the first women trekking guides, eventually they realized that they must empower Nepalese women and make them independent. Through their NGO and travel company (3 Sisters adventure Trek) they are helping more and more Nepalese female citizens to take up travel as profession. It also ensures safety & security for solo women who want to trek Annapurna and Mount Everest .(the very best of Himalayas)
