Croatia is a feast to the eyes a dream to a photographer on the face of the magnificent Adriatic, age-old walled cities, and enchanting national parks. It is an attraction in any Croatia Tour Packages as every corner has a postcard-perfect picture. In case you wish to take incredibly spectacular pictures, you will be spoilt with selection!

The following are some of the most excellent places to take photographs in Croatia:

Dubrovnik City Walls & Mount Srđ: The orange rooftops of the Old Town of Dubrovnik are as legendary as the deep blue Adriatic: you have to see it framed between the walls of Dubrovnik. Stroll on the city walls to have the unimaginable views, or ride a cable car to the top of the Mount Srdb at sunset: This should be a panoramic shot, which will leave you dazzled!

Plitvice Lakes National Park: A world heritage site by UNESCO this park is a series of turquoise colored lakes and waterfalls which are interconnected with wooden boardwalks. There is a constant change of color of the water and foliage, which presents indefinite possibilities of long exposure and landscape photography. Arrive early to avoid crowd!

Diocletian palace inSplit: This old Roman palace was not merely the ruin left behind; this was a breathing city. Catch the images of busy Peristyle, tiny stone lined alleys, and cathedral bell tower to make amazing architecture shots, particularly in the golden hour.

Rovinj, Istria: It is a magical small coastal town in Istria. The Church of St. Euphemia standing up on a hill, the houses that are constructed in the style of a greyish-pinkish tone, and the winding streets made of cobble stone create the picturesque views of Italy. The fishing port is a very photogenic one.

Hvar Island: Hvar Island comes with a combination of natural beauty and the lovely island living seen in the picturesque citrus groves and colorful lavender fields (during certain seasons), and breathtaking views of the Hvar Town and Pakleni Islands.

Krka National Park: The same idea with a different feeling, Krka also includes beautiful cascades, such as Skradinski Buk, where you can even bathe, if you so desire (in the special zones!). There is a peaceful environment composed by the green foliage and the falling water.

Sea Organ and Greeting to the Sun Zadar: these two installations, both a work of art, produce a magical sound and light mix on the waterfront at sunset. Grab the running colors that appear on the water when the sun sets over the horizon this is unique in itself.

Korcula Old Town: Sometimes referred to as the Little Dubrovnik, toy town Korcula boasts of beautiful medieval cityscape, amazing sea views over its walls and a smaller scale that can prove to be a delight. Its layout of fishbone streets has interesting points of view.

Ston Walls: Close to Dubrovnik there are these imposing defensive walls that form the so-called Great Wall of Europe, that takes-up kilometers of course. They provide action architectural images with the background of salt pans and barren hills.

The Blue cave (Biševo Island, off Vis): This sea cave is lit with a cloud of blue in a magical manner when the sunlight enters the water at the right angle. It is a fantastic external site and an amazing chance of bizarre underwater photographing.

Conclusion:

Be it as a serious photographer or just an amateur with an interest in taking beautiful pictures right out of a postcard, Croatia gives you more chances than you can imagine to stuff your memory cards. Thus, don not forget to take your camera along and get ready to enjoy a spectacular visual adventure as a part of Croatia Holiday Packages!
