It's Okay, Me Too
There’s so much fear and shame surrounding sexual assault or abuse. Many victims would prefer keeping quiet to avoid being judged or dealing with the backlash from others. Today’s society has turned its back on those who have experienced sexual abuse, simply choosing to blame the victim rather than taking a good look at the monsters that commit the crime. Being a victim of sexual abuse often leads to other mental health illnesses, such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, and possibly suicide. Speaking out on a public platform about my experience isn’t easy, but I think it’s about time it happens.

Lockdown's a Drag
“I need to go lay down in a dark room”, I said to my friend over eggs in March, Fingers rubbing my temples and peeling old eyelash glue off from the night before, a very faint line of makeup around my face from not being washed properly before collapsing into bed, still smelling like sweat and cheap perfume.

"CELEBRATING ALL BODY TYPES IS WHAT THE INDUSTRY NEEDED"
It a good feeling when you come across a like-minded and intelligent person who potentially shares the same opinions and views as you. Society Makes Female Body Types a Fashion Statement
The "ideal" female body is constantly changing, motivating women to try and conform to each new era's accepted body type. HUMANS ARE NOT SIMPLY CANDY
One of the biggest misconceptions of social media is the fact that we tend to judge before we know the individual based off of the photos they take and how they portray themselves. Many of us are not aware of the demons we fight everyday for survival or obstacles many of us are facing. Social Media is just another outlet to advertise, market, promote or do something to just feel good about yourself. Sometimes we should just take social media for what it is and not speculate.

"THE DAY I CAUGHT A TATTOOED AMAZON"
With each foot I took into the vast jungle I could feel I was not alone. I was not sure if I was being tracked which should surely lead to me being dinner or it was just a stray animal which had lost its path. Or could it be a human that was tracking me. Who knows because this is not one of them stories...
