The Champions of Lockdown viewing
Choosing to binge watch a series is a big decision, what we are all basically doing is enjoying a shared delusion that we can control ourselves around our new “favourite thing in the world ever you HAVE to watch it, it will change your life” show.

Lockdown's a Drag
“I need to go lay down in a dark room”, I said to my friend over eggs in March, Fingers rubbing my temples and peeling old eyelash glue off from the night before, a very faint line of makeup around my face from not being washed properly before collapsing into bed, still smelling like sweat and cheap perfume.

Does Dermarolling really work?
Hold on to your best Borat "wow wow wee wa's" because I'm going to give you my month long dermarolling experiment in detail. Here is me and what I would love to look like without layers and layers of makeup. The below image is a product of excellent makeup and 100 selfies to try and find the right angle to hide my biggest cystic spots, and is essentially, a big fat lie.

Art on primal pleasure
I fucking love art. I did a study a little while ago on the senses, and how different senses provoke different memory receptors, unsurprisingly smell is the only sense that lingers in your olfactory system for long enough to actually create new neural pathways, hence why sometimes when you get a whiff of engine oil you're reminded of an old boyfriend, or the smell from a bakery can almost bring you to tears because you remember it so fondly from your childhood walks with your mother.

The Ultimate Lockdown Survival Guide
Since we went on lockdown I have macgyvered several different ways to at least make myself feel somewhat normal. There are so many services and things that we like to do on a daily basis that we don't even notice when they get taken away, until our nails start growing out, or skin protests, and we can't sneakily leave the house at 11pm for a totally not a hookup that is a hookup. I’ve done the legwork for you. I’ve compiled a little list of what my followers said they miss the most during lockdown, and hopefully some remedies to try yourselves with just some pva glue, poster paint and pipe cleaners, (I’m kidding please use none of these things).

Unhappy Camper
I have a theory. There are many things in life that we would regard a hundred years ago as genuine torture, if you asked most people if they would like to be submerged into sub zero temperature water with no guarantee that they could get out, or if they would like to run for miles and miles to the point of vomiting, they would probably look at you like you’d just said that you were an Instagram influencer on a first date. However ice swimming and marathon running are two tried and tested pastimes that our modern society deems leisurely. And this is my issue with something I have been told to enjoy my entire life as I’m sure many of you have, camping.

The alien that saved my life . Third Place in Behind the Beat Challenge.
I was at my show after a singing gig the other day and someone said that I looked just like David Bowie. They are wrong of course, the only thing I have in common with the late great David Bowie is being short haired, slim, and that I can sing. What that statement meant to me and what she actually saw was something far more meaningful than she could ever imagine. Bowie encapsulated masculine and feminine simultaneously, chaotically, and perfectly. He stood for every oddball in the school yard, everyone who thought they weren't actually meant to be on this planet, and everyone who believed so viciously in their art that they would constantly break the rules to do it. And if she saw one ounce of that in me, then I was already doing what the song that sparked my desire to live again told me to do.
