When did feminism become 'trendy'?
I have been a passionate intersectional feminist for years now, having learned more about the history of the movement at university. I probably have a conversation about feminism every single day, and am constantly trying to learn more and enlighten others too. It's amazing to see the movement grow, develop and gain interest from mainstream media and news outlets. The word 'feminist' seems to be on the lips of girls younger and younger as each new year comes, and more women are beginning to the don the title with pride. So when this powerful f-word grew across the media landscape, why was the last place I probably expected to see it be in our shops?

Sarah Cooper for President
I know that she has a permanent place in the For You section on TikTok. But look at and listen to the above video. It is stering. It is a pristine piece of political humor that sends home the idea of how the State is overbearing. When it comes to private companies, Trump should play no role except to protect the rights of the individuals associated with those companies with American employees. Sarah nails the spirit and the bluster of the predident in this clip like visual-audio shadow. But the video clearly demonstrates just how clueless the president is on these matters. Sarah displays the witlessness of the leader of the semi-free world. Her videos go viral once they hit the ‘Net. There are tons of videos that might have a reason to be featured in this piece, but I can’t think of anyone more worthy of increased attention than Sarah Cooper.

Women at Work
Misogyny. Even the sound of it is unpleasant when you say it. However, you can’t fully imagine how unpleasant this word really is until you have experienced the type of situations where it is applied. Here I will be sharing examples of what it’s like for a woman to work in a misogynistic business based off of situations I have experienced, or witnessed. As you read I Would appreciate it if you would respect that these are real situations that have happened to real women, and not to belittle or dismiss them.

We Need to Talk
My experience took place when I was seven. I’m not going to go into detail, partly because over the years I’ve pushed a lot of them out of my mind. It almost feels like a weird nightmare at this point, 20 years later. Also, I take trigger warnings seriously and wouldn’t want anyone to be affected by the violent details I do remember. What I will say is that it involves being locked in a closet with two younger brothers while the older brother played video games with his back against the door. All of the perpetrators were under 15. And because of something some people familiar with fundamental religions call “the two witness rule” no one was ever charged. My attackers grew up and moved away unscathed. No one ever knew.

Letter to My Rapist
You’re a rapist but I’m stupid and weak so it’s my fault. You raped me [says name]. Everything is different now. I don’t get excited when you call me. I don’t feel like keeping you in my house when you come by. I am in a trance of bracing myself and being defensive towards anything and anyone.
