Whether you like bras or not, you probably wore one at some point in your life. But have you ever felt like it was really uncomfortable? Did you want to take it off as soon as possible after wearing it for the day?

I know that I felt this way in the past. But like most things, there are tricks to make wearing a bra feel comfortable and enjoyable!

Do you want to fall back in love with your bra again?

Throw away bras that are too old and worn out

Come on, admit it. You have bras in your drawer that have become museum artifacts.

I know you love them, and you feel comfortable wearing them. However, at some point, you have to let them go.

They are too old, they don't fit anymore, and it's time to move on.

A new bra will give you all the support you need.

Bras with underwire should be replaced after six months of use. The wire can poke through the fabric and cause discomfort in the breast tissue, leading to infection - yikes!

The average life span of a bra is between six and twelve months.

Wear a bra that is the right size

Rethink what kind of bras you're wearing and consider trying different styles out there like strapless, balconette, T-shirt style...

There are many styles to choose from!

These days the variety and the designs seem almost endless. In the past, that wasn't the case, and women had a difficult time wearing them.

Finding what suits you best won't be a problem. Now they are more comfortable than those traditional old school styles we've been used to.

Keep in mind that not every bra will fit the same way every woman.

You may see a model wearing a bra and really like it, but when you try it on, you might get disappointed.

You don't have to.

There are many shapes of breasts, so the best thing you can do is try out many brands and styles to see which fits you best.

Ask a professional for help

Wearing the right cup size is really important too! Go to a store and ask an expert salesperson and let them help you discover the right size for you.

Don't just go with your instinct when buying a new bra. Get measured!

And if it's an underwire or push-up type of bra, make sure you have enough space in between your breasts to accommodate for all the support.

Get fitted by a professional at least once every six months. Cup size and chest circumference can change if you go through weight fluctuations, so in this case, you may need to fit a new bra.

Pick styles that have flexible straps and underwires

It doesn't matter how comfortable stretchy fabric feels against your skin - sometimes those pesky wires dig into your skin and make you feel uncomfortable.

Avoid buying a bra that makes you feel insecure. You should always be able to wear your clothes comfortably and confidently.

Don't buy on impulse or out of need - take the time to find one that suits your needs, not just what's available in the store at the moment.

Remember: don't let fashion dictate what makes you feel good about yourself; do what works best for you!

Adjust your bra for a more comfortable fit

When you buy a bra, you should feel comfortable wearing it on the loosest hook. Bras usually have three hook settings to adjust the bra because with time, it loses its elasticity.

Don't forget to tighten or loosen the straps on each side for more comfort. Some women neglect to do this, and that results in making the bra visible beneath the clothes.

Trust me, you don't want your bra to get the attention in a meeting.

The straps shouldn't be too loose or too tight. You have to find the sweet spot. If it's uncomfortable, then it is not really the right size for you!

According to a survey, about 80% of women wear the wrong bra size. Wearing a well-fitting bra can help prevent back pain and breast sagging over time. So it's not only about how you look, but it can also affect your health.

Buying a bra is an investment!

Don't buy cheap bras that will fall apart after just one wash, invest in quality ones that are well-made to last you much longer.

One of the most important things is to make sure it fits right! The band should be level across your back with no digging into the skin or twisting at the front.

Cups should fully contain breasts without falling down too low near armpits, while also not being so tight they cut off circulation.

Take care of your bras to make them last longer

I know it's difficult to hand wash your bras, sometimes you don't have the time. You just want to throw everything in the washing machine and get it over with.

One thing you can do is use a bra bag to keep your underwear from getting ruined in the wash.

A lingerie bag will protect your underwear and bras from getting tangled with other clothes and will keep your bras in shape.

I recommend that you try washing your bras regularly, so they last longer and are less likely to get stretched out.

You also want to air dry them or hang them up on a hanger inside instead of putting them in the dryer where they can lose their shape quicker.

When drying them, make sure there's no twist on straps as this could cause sagging over time.

Doing all of these things will ensure that every time you put on your favorite bra, you'll feel comfortable and sexy too!

It's just like when you love what you're wearing on the outside! Loving what comes into contact with your skin will make you feel beautiful from the inside out.
