Opposite the temple, surrounded by the Beira River, is another site of the temple that is stunning and very peaceful. It would be a great place to start the journey of uncovering beautiful Sri Lanka.
Colombo is famous for this stunning location just because of the cultural significance it holds to the city, as it's a place for worship, visitors are expected to dress modestly and remove footwear when entering, and it is a place to most definitely be visited.

The Lotus Tower is a newer landmark that has some of the most breathtaking views of the nightlife of Colombo. A great place to visit at night and spend a few quiet minutes in silence, looking at the beauty that is Colombo.
The towers recently opened up an immersive experience where its visitors can experience technological immersive experiences to take pictures and also learn more about the history and heritage of Sri Lanka. The tower features more daring adventures as well, now such as bungee jumping, which is yet to be started for the public, but there is also abseiling that has been carried out with safe precautions as well. A relaxing place that can be perfect to watch the sun setting within the city, it can get quite busy, but it is the epitome of the unity of the people and is something to enjoy. It's one of the oldest buildings that stands in Colombo and features some interesting shops and restaurants that perfectly blend in with the culture.
