NFL Week 5 and 6
Week 5 Fantasy Football is back! Thanks largely to Herbert lighting it up for over 42 points in a crazy game against Cleveland, my team got back on the winning trail. I managed to beat Jay who was lying second in the table before that game, the fact that two of his players scored no points was a big help. A new running back picked up on a waiver helped me out, Hubbard at Carolina was filling in for McCaffrey and scored me 18 points. Kelce chipped in with seventeen points as did my Buffalo defence. In the end it all ended up to a relatively comfortable 128-101 victory to move me to 3-2.

NFL in London
Have you ever had something that you told yourself you would do ‘one day’? The older you get the quicker those days turns into weeks, months, years and even decades. Finally, for me one of those ‘one day’ moments became today. After following the sport for almost forty years, and saying since the first London game fourteen years ago that I will go to one of them, I witnessed an NFL game live in the flesh for the first time.

4 winners and 3 losers from Week 5 in the NFL. Top Story - October 2021.
"How 'bout they Cowboys?" This saying, which was first used by Jimmy Johnson in 1992, has been unquestionably the most irritating in sports for the past three decades. It's been a symbol of everything that frustrates 31 other Dallas fanbases for years. Over-exposure, endless promises that this is their year, and frustration at reaching mid-season wondering why a 3-5 team has still four primetime games on the schedule.

The Red Sox were saved by an obscure rule before walk-off homer vs. Rays
After battling it out in an AL East that has been historically strong, the Tampa Bay Rays will be playing a fierce best-of-5 ALDS series. After winning the World Series last year, the Rays were the favorite in the AL and achieving 100 wins during the regular season for the first time ever in Rays franchise history. Red Sox won 92 games in the regular season, beating the New York Yankees in Wild Card. They earned their place in the ALDS.

NFL kickers had the worst Sunday ever in Week 5
Strangely, NFL kickers have been in the limelight since the beginning of the 2021 NFL season. NFL kickers scored 10 winning field goals in September, either at the end of regulation (or in overtime). All of them can be viewed here. This list also includes Justin Tucker's league record 66-yard touchdown to beat the Detroit Lions in Week 3. It is one of the most memorable moments this season.

Football is Dangerous
Football is known to be a famous sport in grade school, high school, and college. Most boys and girls play but football has a high rate for injuries. Some players develop a head trauma disease. Injuries do not have to be a part of the game and there are ways to reduce the number. Coachers can change the practice and can make ways to where they play safe but have fun at the same time. Positions with the greatest risk of injury were running backs and linebackers. Additional instruction on appropriate tackling and blocking techniques can reduce the risk of injury during running plays. C.T.E is a head trauma induced disease linked to depression and impulse – control problems, memory loss, and dementia. More than 20 deceased N.F.L players have been found that have C.T.E. Overall, football is too dangerous in grade school, high school, and college or even just playing outside of school. There are too many injuries and serious stuff that can happen. Football players in high school can get C.T.E. at an early age and that’s concerning. Football players get hurt and want to speed the process of healing, they tell their coaches they are ok, and even more hurt than before. Health is always the first priority players need to look at. If they just play football, drained then maybe they need a break. If the players get hurt and try to speed the injury process, then they end up getting more hurt and they might make it worse and might not play no more.
