NFL Week 2 Recap: Where There's a Willis, There's a Way
It is not a good time for sports fans in Baltimore right now. The Orioles continue to slip behind the New York Yankees in the American League East, and while they are hanging to the #1 Wild Card position in the American League, they would rather have home field in a Division Series instead of the Wild Card Series. But don't worry, Baltimore. After all, there's still the Ravens, right?

32 Year Drought Continues For San Francisco 49ers After Week 2 Loss To Minnesota
The San Francisco 49ers dominated in week 1. They had a much more difficult time in week 2 against the Minnesota Vikings. One of the storylines going into the matchup was how long it has been since the team has won in Minnesota. The last time the 49ers won in Minnesota was week 15 of the 1992 season. They had a chance to end the drought, but it will continue after the current NFC North leader dominated San Francisco.

At Only Age 26, Is It Time for Tua to Retire?
If you saw my split up stories about Week 1, then you know that my new plan for weekly recaps is splitting up the stories if it is warranted. It can be difficult to try to cram mentions for 16 games in one story. Regarding Week 2, I originally was going to cram it all and wait until the Monday game ends. This is despite the fact that this was the beginning of Amazon Prime's third season of Thursday Night Football, and also despite the fact that the game featured was the Miami Dolphins hosting the Buffalo Bills. These two teams are predicted to be battling it out for the AFC East, and this was the first of two meetings this year. Even so, I was going to wait to discuss this.

CFL Week 14 Recap: Sinking Ships
You know, I had been looking forward to this all season. It had been hell for the Toronto Argonauts in the East Division standings. We could not catch the Ottawa Redblacks. Labour Day in Hamilton was an absolute disaster. Yet we could at least save face in the final week of the heart of the season. This was the first meeting between the Argos and Redblacks. This was our first chance to get things done and make a dent in the pursuit for at least second place in the East Division. Smooth sailing, right?

3 Keys to Victory for the Lions in Week 2
The Lions will be aiming to go 2-0 this week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after winning in overtime in week 1. The Lions and Bucs will rematch at Ford Field this week after meeting in the divisional playoff round of the previous season. Following a terrible performance the previous year, the Lions tried to improve their secondary this summer, and so far, things seem better. Although it wasn’t perfect, Terrion Arnold and Carlton Davis both made great plays and showed the potential they have. For the Lions to win on Sunday, they must accomplish three important goals.

Las Vegas Raiders Fans: It’s Not Time to Panic
If you’re a proud member of “Raider Nation,” then you’re upset about how the Las Vegas Raiders started the season. But it’s not time to panic yet. Being pessimistic seems to be a rite of passage for Raiders fans at this point. It usually follows the extreme optimism that is injected into the fanbase at the start of every training camp. Despite how rough week one was, there is still hope for this season.
