No one seems to see the hypocrisy in Tebogo's comment and other videos of him running races. Here I will outline the entire video not just the clip being widely shared on social media. Where even BBC news decided to share only a portion of the clip.

Ironically there is a video being shared by an African so-called influencer where Tebogo is being flashy and arrogant before he even wins the race.

No one is seeing the hypocrisy in that video, even though it is being used to claim that Tebogo who's sticking his tongue out and doing other outlandish things while running, then winning a race as humble. Tebogo in another video is doing the hand gun motions while running in a race, not even after the race but during.

Most people are not even sharing the entire clip, not the question that was being asked of Tebogo. Below here is the question which is followed up by the reply of Tebogo.

The question; Can you give us the name of your trainer? Is that something you aspire to, world records and being the face of track and field in the future?

Tebogo: gives trainers name, then adds "I think for me I can't be the face of athletics because I'm not an arrogant and loud person like Noah, so I believe Noah is the face of athletics!"

What? What the F*CK did that have to do with his question? He asked him personally about his aspirations, nothing about Noah Lyles, not one mention of Lyles was in that question.

From there it gets worse, there are older videos showing the Tebogo acting just like Lyles on the track. Making it worse after his win he does the same things as Lyles he's sticking out his tongue and show boating.

However several African influencers claim this is Tebogo being humble, has the meaning of humble changed or is it different in Africa? I know living in Ghana for 2-years, the country I call upside down many English words and phrases are changed to suit their own use. Is this the same for humble?

It would have been a great time for Tebogo is is relatively unknown outside of Africa outside of those who follow closely track and field to shine a light on himself. He could have just answered the man's questions and told the world what he wants for himself next, instead he used this as a time to show more hatred between the Black American and Black African communities.

Sadly many Africans refuse to see this as well, I mean it is so clear a blind person can see it.

These screenshots, some not shown of Tebogo running, sticking out his tongue and show boating, some people commented on the video that a person doing this should automatically lose the race. The person watched the video and made this comment, however the video was posted after the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Here I will try to link the Facebook Reel, click to watch

Back in the day would’ve been Disqualified, u can’t do that in athletics…. Showboating or taunting could also get u kicked off the team. This really annoys coaches because so many slow down and lose like this 🤦🏽‍♀️Happy for any African to win though!

The caption reads; "Tebogo Proved that talk is cheap!" Where? I am wondering where in the video did Tebogo who was showing off prove that talk is cheap? He used a moment to insult another Black man who suffers from a number of mental health issues and who's Jamaican born and raised girlfriend is being bullied by other Jamaicans for being "too dark skin!"

This was a moment that showed immaturity to me and it will forever be this way. After living in 2 African countries, reading the news in several African countries it seems like many Africans need to insult Black Americans to prove a point, what that point it I will never know.

This trend of Africans showing hatred is not only towards Black Americans but shows up in the tribalism and colorism practiced within their own communities. Sadly it is 2024, I see no end in sight for these issues, while Africans fight with Black Americans they still practice tribalism and colorism in within their own groups. Talk about being assed backwards.
