LeBron James and the End of an Era…Again
There once was a kid from Akron. His name was LeBron Raymone James. He was a very healthy kid, with a rather tough background, who would grow up to be a rather healthy man. This healthy man from little Akron, Ohio would grow to be so healthy, and superbly skilled at basketball that he would then be drafted by his home-state Cleveland Cavaliers in hopes that he would “Save the franchise”. Well, he didn’t quite do it the first time around as he would leave Cleveland in search of greener pastures and sunnier shades, and this is where he found South Beach, Miami. In Miami little LeBron “The Chosen One”, who had now flourished into King James, won several titles with his comrades in Chris Bosh and BFF Dwyane Wade. Shocking to some, he would then make his return to Cleveland, with the promise of bringing them a ring. “I’m coming home” was the theme song, as LeBron came home, and eventually led his city and franchise to a championship. After many more years of basketball bliss they all lived…………….**BACKSPIN!!

The Worst Bracket Breakdown on the Internet
I’m a dope. I get far too excited for the NCAA men’s basketball tournament each and every year. I treat the opening weekend like bacchanalia and neglect all adult duties. I inevitably end up with basketball fatigue if *my team* is eliminated. Yet here I am again. Like a virgin on prom night (and thousands of nights after because I’m the type of guy who has a tendency to become obsessively enthralled with all measure of nerd-dom) full of a fervor that can only be described as hormonal.

Why Andrew Luck’s Window for “Greatness” Might Be Closing
A few short years ago, ahead of the 2012 NFL Draft, there was one name that was all the rage. This name was none other than prize quarterbacking prodigy Andrew Luck out of Stanford. Not only was the pedigree supposedly there, being the offspring of another former NFL quarterback Oliver Luck, but according to every scout, pundit, coach, and analyst that salivated over the prospect, the talent and natural ability was there also. This football player, this man, this quarterbacking “GOD” was sure to be the next big thing in the NFL and surely the best quarterback in the league someday.

It’s Time to Rethink Lineups
Terry Collins sighs, sitting alone in his office. An empty lineup card sits before him. He’s spent the past hour puzzling over who to bat today, and where — should Cespedes bat cleanup, or would he fit better in the 3 hole? Does Jose Reyes deserve to lead-off? And where on Earth does Jay Bruce fit into any of this?

Figuring Out the Next Piece for LeBron’s Superteam
No matter who started the superteam, whether you like superteams, or you’re just tired of hearing the word superteam, it’s safe to say no team in the league can hold a candle to the Warriors’ roster. They’ve put on one of the most dominant performances in postseason history, and completely dismantled the team that ran through the Eastern Conference.

The Cincinnati Bearcats Are the Sleeper Nobody Is Talking About
Let me be 100% clear. This is a completely biased article. The first basketball team I fell in love with was the Cincinnati Bearcats. Growing up in the 513, we didn’t have a professional basketball team — the Cats’ were the next best thing.

The Unbalanced 2017 NBA Mock Draft 1.0: The Lottery
The NBA Finals are upon us! And so is the NBA Draft. For fans of the 28 teams not partaking in part III of the Finals trilogy, free agency and NBA Draft rumors are starting to heat up. Even with the basketball season coming to a close, the news, rumors and fake trade articles will only start to heat up. My sources tell me that this time of the year is when NBA websites receive the most #views.

While Teams Scramble To Get Better, The Warriors Sit Back And Laugh
If you’ve slept more than like six hours at any time since Golden State won their second title in three years, you’ve probably missed some absurd rumor or a trade no one saw coming. While we all knew the Warriors were good, we didn’t know they were this good. This offseason has already gotten off to one of the most insane starts yet, and it’s all thanks to Golden State.

Who Is This Year’s Dark Horse of College Football?
There is nothing — and I mean nothing — like college football. If you have ever been on a college campus around the time of a big rivalry game (or any big game in general), you know exactly what I’m talking about. Hopes of the playoffs can be dashed in one game. I need some Jim Harbaugh khakis in my life now. Which had me thinking: who are some teams that can make 2017 their magical season? To make the playoffs you need a lot of luck, but that's not the only thing. You need a decent schedule (not too hard because two losses basically takes you out of it), you need to stay healthy, and you need to pass the eye exam (how much fun is this team to watch). This year should be fun. Teams like Auburn and Georgia should raise the SEC back to the level we are all used to; Florida State could be a legit opponent to Clemson in the ACC; Penn State is going to battle with Michigan and Ohio State for the Big 10 title. But who are the actual dark horses for the 2017 college football season?

Eduardo Nunez’s Versatility Has Helped Him Thrive In Boston
Eduardo Nunez hasn’t exactly stuck with one team in his major league career. The 30-year old infielder has played for four different organizations throughout his seven year big league career, but despite that, he’s a lifetime .282 hitter. He’s been a solid player both offensively and defensively in the majors. For the Red Sox, Nunez was a great acquisition on July 25th because he adds depth to their lineup as a guy who can move around and play all over.
