Why I Am Excited For Destiny 2
The year was 2015. After a year of existence, Destiny had left many people, myself included, frustrated and disappointed. A paltry debut known as vanilla, combined with two mediocre DLCs, had most people feeling as if Destiny was over with. A good experiment that had faltered.

An Expert Weighs in on Trump's Pardon
Recently inflatable leather handbag Donald Trump used his presidential pardon to save the erstwhile sheriff of Maricopa county in Arizona. Joe Arpaio (known to Trump's denizens as "Sheriff Joe" like some sort of animated lawman) is a phenomenal sheriff – If a phenomenal sheriff brutalizes prison inmates, antagonizes them proudly, engages in abuse and keeps them in horrifying conditions in an effort to reduce their sense of humanity. Ol' gunslinging Sheriff Joe even bragged about creating a concentration camp. Yet it wasn't Arpaio's fetish for medieval approach to incarceration which placed him in need of a pardon. Instead it was Joe's tendency to be an teensy bit racist.

Did the Dodgers Losing Streak Happen at the Right Time?
The LA Dodgers have done everything imaginable this year to build their roster to be the team in the National League. The team that will go all the way and plays for a World Series title. They have one of the best all around lineups in the entire game, and with the addition of Curtis Granderson in the outfield and Yu Darvish on the mound, they became that much better. They still boast the best record in all of baseball at 96 and 53, even though they're fresh off an 11-game losing streak.

About a year ago this time, the world was right. We had yet to be fully taken aback by the mercurial charm of one LaVar Ball and his three basketball wielding sons. We had yet to be tarnished by the boastful yet exuberant brand of marketing so elegantly executed by the patriarch of the Ball family. We had yet to witness what was surely on it’s way in the form of a media madman and the subsequent superstar that was LaVar, and most importantly, we had yet to get tired of it. Well we are, the most of us sane, logical, and rational people, and here is why the act is starting to get old.

The Best Show You're Probably Not Watching Right Now
All the talk from LaVar Ball over the past six or so months has turned a few people away from the Ball family and disregarding Lonzo Ball as a basketball player due to his father's extravagant personality. LaVar has said that Lonzo is better than two time NBA MVP Steph Curry; he's also said that he would beat Michael Jordan in a 1-on-1 game. "Never lost." LaVar has the biggest personality of a sports parent that I've ever seen and I can't keep my eyes off the Ball family as a whole.

2017-18 NHL Storylines to Watch
Ah, my friends, I've just finished watching the end of the Islanders-Flyers preseason game that was streamed on the Islanders' website today. I only caught the third period and overtime, but my how I have missed hockey. I didn't even realize it, but watching it again gave me all the fuzzy feelings. Now I have to be sad that real hockey doesn't start for another three weeks, but chances are, if you're reading this, you feel my pain. My mouth waters for more.
