NBA Season Is Back and That Makes Me Very Very Happy
We are back everyone. Time to rejoice because the NBA season tipped off this week. The greatest league in America is back playing meaningful games and I am here for all of it. Now that beach season has come to an end (which makes me sad), NBA season, even while being a die hard New York Knicks fan (which is like having a terminal illness), basketball season is the perfect pick me up. And this season is going to be excellent; so many story lines and narratives this year to talk about and I will be talking about a lot of it this year.

Game #6: Winnipeg Jets vs Edmonton Oilers
In spite of having one of the strongest opening periods seen in Bell MTS Place by the Winnipeg Jets in a while, a sudden flurry of goals from the Edmonton Oilers in the third period squelched the home team’s hope of a victory Tuesday night. The game ended with a 5-4 overtime win for the visiting Edmonton Oilers, led by their captain Connor McDavid.

My Top 5 Storylines for 2018-2019 NBA Season
So....it's been a while.... In my defence, I'm in first year engineering and tore my MCL in my first university rugby game so cut me some slack. Fortunately, I don't need surgery for those worrying (so like two people) and uni is, well, taking some getting used to.

Does Being Young Have an Advantage in Coaching?
It’s probably the question I think most about when I am around my teams. I fully believe it has its positives and negatives. Being the youngest coach not only in the Webster organization but even in the last three years of league play, sets me apart from the other coaches. I haven’t met a coach that doesn’t have a child on the team—easily putting them in the 30+ age bracket (sorry guys). I love being the young one out there, I can step on the ice during any clinic or our try hockey for free events and immediately connect with the kids much easier than any of the other coaches on the ice. Not saying it’s because I am a better coach, I’m saying it’s because of the age difference.

Where Is Jimmy Butler Going?
Where is Jimmy Butler going? There has been a lot of off-season drama in Minnesota locker room, with most of it focused on Jimmy Butler. So, what has happened? About a month ago, Butler requested a trade. But why? Honestly, it seems like he’s fed up with this Timberwolves team. I think it’s a combination of a lot of things. Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins, Jeff Teague, Tom Thibodeau, the front office, etc.

A Common Misconception
For as long as I can remember, I have "lived" in a bowling alley. I know the ins and outs of how a bowling alley works, from how to work the computers to knowing exactly what goes on inside the pinsetter, in every bowling alley I have ever been to.

'27-0 vs 50-0.' Khabib Calls out Mayweather! But Why...?
Fresh from outclassing Conor McGregor and then almost causing a full scale riot within the T-Mobile Arena at UFC 229, seemingly fearless Khabib Nurmagomedov has now turned his attention to undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather, challenging the 41 year old to a boxing bout. With both men undefeated in their respective sports, Khabib clearly feels he has the skills to topple one of Boxing's greatest, a feat McGregor failed to accomplish in his multi-million pound attempt in August of 2017.

Can the #19 Hawkeyes Make the Playoff?
In a conference that seems to be the Ohio State show every week, the Iowa Hawkeyes are not backing down without a fight. Iowa doesn't have the toughest schedule. They have faced a good Iowa State team and Wisconsin so far. They have to play a ranked Penn State and Northwestern who currently leads the Big Ten West standings. If Iowa can win-out, are they worthy enough to be in the playoff?
