On Saturday at Pace University, Somers and Vestal played a sustained back and forth until midway through the third quarter of the New York State Regional Semifinal. How To Take a Punch (3 Tips)
Whenever you watch an action hero on the silver screen, the camera tends to focus on them winning fights. In fact, between expert technique, a rock hard physique, and an iron jaw there's no possibility the hero could ever lose; foes fall with broken faces and shattered spirits under the hammer blows of their fists, but when the bad guys get a solid blow in the hero just keeps on coming. On the one hand this could be blatant abuse of main character powers... on the other hand it's entirely possible that our lead has simply learned the most important skill any fighter needs to have in his or her arsenal.

Part I : A Look Back at 2019 John Jay Football - Hen Hud and Brewster
John Jay Sinks Sailors 34-6 After two runs for minus seven yards to open the game on Friday Night at John Jay High School, Hen Hud Quarterback Braden Ellis hit Marcus Lenz on the run for a first down, and the game between the two 1-0 teams looked like it might be a good one. John Tortorella is Long Gone but his Press Conferences Said a Lot About the Media
Photo by Rich Mitchell The Rangers fired John Tortorella several years ago. He had refused to yield his style to the makeup of the team roster and got what he deserved. But I still miss his press conferences and not just for the entertainment value.

Meeting D'Angelo Russell
Dear D'Angelo Russell, It was great to meet you after the Golden State Warriors game tonight. It's always good to meet a fellow genius left-hander. You know what they say: "left-handed, right-minded." A lot of geniuses have been left-handed: Einstein, Da Vinci, Michelangelo, a bunch of others too.

The Uneven Ice in the NHL
January 4th, 2020, saw an afternoon NHL game being played between the Minnesota Wild and the visiting Winnipeg Jets. The one consistency throughout the game was the constantly inconsistent calls, which led to the overtime victory for the home team. The need to hold the officials, who are all members of the NHLOA (National Hockey League Officials Association) is needed, especially when there are games such as this called, and players being injured and no retribution being made in the form of missed calls.

Things to Note for First-time Skaters
I went skating for the first time ever with an African Association in my school and I had a cocktail of emotions that I was feeling before, during and after skating. What I had imagined in my head was like the ones in the movies where the guy holds the girl or the girl hold the guy and one of them falls in such a pleasant way but my reality was far from that. So, I’m going to be dropping some things that I learned in my first skating experience.

Lots of ups and downs with the team, but in general, I am satisfied and believe that if the Jazz can keep it up, they have a shot of making the Western Conference Finals. Let's take a look at what this year has been like.

My Review of "The Carter Effect"
The Carter Effect is a documentary on Vince Carter but more specifically Vince Carter's influence. It's interesting because if you aren't of a certain age you might not know the crazy popularity of Vince Carter back in the late 90's and early 2000's. I grew up seeing what Vince Carter has done for Toronto, the Toronto Raptors and Canadians in general.
