What It Really Means To Be a Swashbuckler
A lot of things probably come to mind when you hear the term swashbuckler. For example, most of us picture the flash of steel, the clash of parries, and the witty banter of heroes (or villains) whose skill is so great that even a duel to the death isn't enough to greatly concern them as they advance and retreat across a parapet, or the heaving deck of a ship. You probably also imagine musketeers in their trademark hats, and pirate captains with their swirling coats, all taking on long odds and coming out ahead with nothing more than guts and style as their rapiers flash in blinding strokes and dazzling parries that prove skill is sometimes enough to overcome greater numbers.

Does Coronavirus Mean the End of Sports as We Know Them?
For decades, sports were a constant, part of the background noise of American culture, and maybe an unhealthy obsession. Games were always on. Radio always filled with banter. Twitter fights were had. (And enjoyed by many). There were office pools, side bets and serious gambling. Sports gave us something to talk about when the conversation slowed, something to watch when there was nothing else to do.

Getting Started With Golf
If you like playing videogames, then chances are that you’ve played a good couple of golf games in your life. These golf games can be based on reality or have some elements of fantasy to it. There are games out there where they have golf balls that can fly off a great distance or golf courses that look something out of a fantasy movie. Golf in videogames is always fun and with motion sensor technology, people can emulate playing golf at home with the use of their consoles. They can swing their arms and score for that hole in one. Videogame golf is fun but what if you wanted to start getting into the world of golf.

The Toronto Raptors have taken the risk this season, found a rhythm and grown since winning the NBA.
The Toronto Raptors. 2018-2019 NBA Champions. Eastern Conference Champions. A first championship for the Raptors in the 2019 NBA Finals. A year ago, I may not have remembered this, but a year on and I do. And I love being a part of the Raptor family.

John Jay Wins Fox Lane Tip Off Tournament
After defeating Poughkeepsie in a tight back and forth game in the semifinals of the Fox Lane Tip Off Tournament on Thursday Night, Saturday afternoon’s start looked like it would be a cruise for the John Jay girls. But a 20-5 first quarter lead against Blind Brook turned into some pretty choppy water for Indians. “Our girls would go on a run, Blind Brook would battle back and then we would make big shots,” said John Jay Head Coach Matt Gallagher. Of course, somebody had to laugh last when all was said and done.

Brofessional Begins
I'm willing to bet you're asking yourself : "Who the hell are you and what's a Brofessional?" To that I'll answer: My name is Justin and I've been exchanging my labour for golf privileges for the past 5 years. Yeah I only make minimum wage, but I also get amazing access to facilities and expertise for the price of.. on the house. Which is where the term Brofessional comes from; an occupation which may not explicitly pay the best, but instead offers implicit returns like: having access to expertise, free course & range access, discounted equipment to name a few, but more importantly it offers me an outlet for comedic expression and avenues to pursue content creation as a serious career. So that's my mission: to take full advantage of the opportunity of working at a golf course so I can become a better golfer, flex my creative muscles and meet a lot of interesting characters along the way.

Gender Equality in Sports
Today I am honoured to be your team captain, more honoured to lead you this season. There is another honour to be bestowed upon you, that is the answer that comes with a question. Who am I? I am a champion! I need you to remember that all throughout the game. Join me as I share my vision for a society where there is gender equality. I’d like to invite everyone. Men included, to help re-contextualise the current inequitable roles which, men and women have in western society. Powerful men and women are the catalysts which will rapidly help transform and modify our perspective to win the grand finale. Gender equality is not just about economic empowerment or making women more powerful than men. It is a moral imperative. It is about fairness and equality in terms of respect towards women and building a society free from the weight of gender social constructs. Gender equality is about normalising and recognising women in power positions.
