John Jay Pins Scarsdale 58-22
On Tuesday December 12, John Jay hosted Scarsdale, and first to take the mat for the Wolves was Emerson Flamm. He faced Luke Iasiello, and the Scarlett Knight muscled his way to a 10-1 lead. Then suddenly Flamm scored a reversal and two near falls to pull within one, and the subdued crowd switched gears. Iasiello did recover to a 17-12 victory, and the rosters playing out, there wasn’t nearly as much drama the rest of the way.

Uncovering the Mirror Inside. Content Warning.
In the fierce story of my life, the repetitive topic revolves around a harmful quality that arises like a tempest after each troublesome communication with companions and partners. The obvious truth is that I'm an overthinker, a quality that sticks to me like a persistent shadow. Notwithstanding, in the midst of this mindfulness, a passionate longing to change myself flashes, an unfaltering assurance to rediscover the peacefulness that appears to get away despite misfortune.

Bitter Symphony: The Discordant Harmony of an Awfulness
In reality as we know it where sympathy frequently entwines with misfortune, I once left on an excursion energized by the craving to protect an outsider from the grip of torture. Much to my dismay, this unselfish signal would unfurl into a frightful story of misdirection and deplorability.

NFL Power Rankings Week 17
10. (9-7) Jaguars The Jaguars return to the top ten despite losing Trevor Lawrence. CJ Beathard hasn't done anything crazy, but he has got the job done. The Jaguars dominated the Panthers, and say what you want about the Panthers, but they have never been shut out...until the Jaguars came to town. Doug Pederson has a stingy defense and backup going into the playoffs. Where have we heard that before?

Avalanche Game 37 Recap: Ending 2023 in Style
2023 was quite the year for the Colorado Avalanche. When the calendar year began, the Avalanche were the reigning, defending, undisputed Stanley Cup Champions. It was a calendar year that saw Nathan MacKinnon pick up his very first 100-point season. It was a calendar year that saw Mikko Rantanen finish a 50+ goal season, and also rack up 100 points. Now, unfortunately, it was a year that saw the Avalanche's attempt at a repeat come to an abrupt end. But it would also be a year that the Avalanche would begin the process of dusting ourselves off, and try, try again.

No Mercy (NFC Week 18)
Are you ready for some chaos?! The National Football Conference's playoff picture is still insane entering the final week of the season. How crazy is it? Out of the eight NFC games being played this Sunday, only one of them has no meaning. It's true. While only half of the AFC's games are playoff relevant, seven of the NFC's games are highly important. A lot of teams are looking to get either a division title, or that last Wild Card spot. Overall, only two playoff spots are left in the NFC, but it's a stacked card for those spots.

No Way Out (AFC Week 18)
Well, football fans, we're here! It was a wildly insane journey, but we made it to the final week of the NFL season. We celebrated Christmas, we welcomed a New Year, and now, it's time to say goodbye to the 2023 regular season, and a few teams in the process. There's still a lot to decipher in the playoff picture, and so many teams have one final chance to get in and get what they want. Because of this, for the first time, I have to split this up into separate stories per conference, starting with the American Football Conference.

NFL Week 17 Recap: Resolutions
The penultimate week of the NFL season always manages to deliver the amazing moments, and this year was no exception. Since this is New Year's Eve, I thought I would deviate from the usual format of picking the top story of the week, and going from the beginning of the week to the end. A countdown, if you will.
