The NBA is always full of excitement and surprises, and this Monday’s slate promises to be no different. As we gear up for tonight’s games, it’s important to keep an eye on the latest injury news and updates.

The Denver Nuggets have downgraded Michael Porter to questionable, while the Portland Trail Blazers are without Anfernee Simons, Jusuf Nurkic, Justise Winslow, and Ryan Arcidiacono. The Boston Celtics have officially ruled out Jayson Tatum, Al Horford, and Robert Williams, but Malcolm Brogdon is available. With these three key players out, Jaylen Brown is expected to see a significant increase in his underlying rates, making him one of the top spends for the night.

Meanwhile, the Indiana Pacers only have Tyrese Haliburton and Aaron Nesmith listed as questionable, while the Miami Heat have ruled out Kevin Love.

But the most notable news comes from the Detroit Pistons. With Cade Cunningham, Bojan Bogdanovic, Jalen Duren, and Isaiah Stewart already listed out, the Pistons have now listed James Wiseman, Killian Hayes, and Rodney McGruder as questionable. If all three players end up being ruled out, the Pistons would only have 10 players available, including several fringe NBA players. This could potentially turn the Pistons into a chalk play on Monday night.

Overall, the slate for tonight’s NBA DFS promises to be exciting, with several key players listed as questionable or out. Keep an eye out for updates throughout the day, as the landscape could change rapidly depending on the latest injury news.

Starting with the point guard position, our top pick for the day is Damian Lillard, who is a preferred spend-up on FanDuel. Portland is playing without Simons and Nurkic again, which should give Lillard a boost in usage. Following Lillard is Derrick White, who stands to benefit from Boston’s absence of Tatum, Horford, and Time Lord. CJ McCollum also makes the list, with New Orleans likely getting JV back but still without Zion, J-Rich, Nance, and GTA. Malcolm Brogdon and De’Anthony Melton round out our top five, with Brogdon expected to fill in some minutes for BOS and Melton’s outlook improving if Tobias and Tucker are out.

For the shooting guard position, Jaden Ivey takes the top spot. With the two highest USG Pistons out, and Wiseman and Killian Hayes in question, Ivey’s time may have finally come. Derrick White and CJ McCollum make appearances again, with Malcolm Brogdon and Hamidou Diallo completing the top five. As for GPP options, James Harden and Tyrese Haliburton (Q) have potential to surprise us with high ceilings, with Cam Reddish ranking fourth highest Smash% at SG.

Moving on to the small forward position, Brandon Ingram takes the top spot with his $8,500 price tag and 1.11 FanDuel points per game with Zion off the court this season. Jimmy Butler comes in at second place, followed by Matisse Thybulle, Caleb Martin, and Trey Murphy. For GPP plays, Jaylen Brown is worth considering, but his matchup and overtime games are concerning. Tyler Herro has a 47 FanDuel ceiling projection and 12.7% pOWN%, while Herb Jones is a solid pick with NOP still shorthanded.

At the power forward position, Marvin Bagley is our top pick, with a whopping 36.1 FanDuel points per game since his return from hand fracture. Jimmy Butler takes second place yet again, with Grant Williams expected to take up a lot of minutes with Boston down three frontcourt players. Caleb Martin and Jerami Grant round out the top five. For GPP plays, Domantas Sabonis, Pascal Siakam, and Trendon Watford are all solid choices.

Last but not least, at the center position, Marvin Bagley takes the top spot once again, followed by Bam Adebayo, who’s coming off a fantastic game on Saturday with 57.7 FanDuel points. James Wiseman (Q) is another good option, especially as a GPP pivot off of Bagley. Mike Muscala is a solid pick, but only if he starts, and Drew Eubanks has the highest Opto% among cheap options. As for GPP plays, Nikola Jokic is a no-brainer with his immense ceiling potential, while Joel Embiid and Myles Turner are both solid options.
