Is Ripple (XRP) Set to Break All Time High?

Earlier this week I wrote about a few cryptocurrency options that may be good choices for beginners looking to get into the crypto game. Ripple (XRP) was one of the inclusions in my list. At the time, it was trading at $2.66 per token. In the short time since that, it has jumped up to $3.26 at the time of this writing and it is still showing signs of a continued climb.

XRP is at a potentially great point to still get involved as it looks to be in a position to climb above it's previous all time high (ATH) of $3.84 if this momentum continues. The closer the price action gets to the $5.00 mark, the harder it may be to get a good entry point. With the SEC looking to potentially drop all cases against Ripple (XRP) in the coming days as Gensler prepares to retire his position, the potential for XRP to continue to climb seems very possible. Despite Gensler still pushing forward with the case against Ripple (XRP), there are very few days remaining for him to get any solid actions and judgements in his favor, and at this point his attempts seem more petty than anything else.

Those who did take a shot the other day and got in on XRP when it was below $3.00 are likely smiling right now as it continues to climb. Just be careful and make sure to have your selling points mapped out based on your goals for any cryptocurrency or investment. You don't want to jump out too soon and miss out on the big payday, but you also don't want to end up holding and chasing gains that never come back. XRP still appears to be in a position for more gains, especially as Gensler's time overseeing the SEC comes to an end. 

While many analysts are at odds over where XRP will go, it does appear that currently, it's in a positive direction. The large swing it made from $2.66 up to over $3.26 has many wondering if it will exceed the ATH price of $3.84 by the end of this week. While that may be wishful thinking, it also does not seem unreasonable given the $0.60 cent increase it has had this week already. As the 20th nears, Gensler's departure may single a high jump for XRP since he has been behind the legal actions against it up to this point. 

Will his departure cause XRP to skyrocket past it's ATH as investors get hopeful for the legal actions to come to an end in this case? This may be a perfect opportunity to get involved in this cryptocurrency, and may be similar to back when Bitcoin (BTC) was just starting to take off. The one thing that many analysts agree on is that XRP is worth watching right now, especially while the price is still in the below $5.00 per token range. It's still early enough in the game for double digits to be possible with this token. While triple digits seems like a far jump at this point, there was a time many did not imagine BTC would hit that point either and look where it is at now! Will XRP follow in a similar pattern? Only time will tell. In the meantime, keep a close eye on the charts, it should be an interesting year for cryptocurrency, especially Ripple (XRP)!
