How To Make A Lot Of Money Doing Nothing
Some Thoughts On Where We Are At

Introduction - Why I Am Writing This
Yes the title is clickbait but we would all love to be able to do what we want when we want, and a lot of the time there is a monetary cost to that. Whatever you want generally there is a price to pay, and to get that thing you need money.
This is usually done by having a job that pays for your needs and hopefully with something left over for your wants.
Wouldn’t it be great if you could just have what you want and not have to consider how you would pay for that item or service. I would love that to happen, for everyone.
A Long Time Ago
In the late eighties I was contracting and asked to work on the computerisation of the Stock Market in London. I said know. The Stock Market has the ability to trash a perfectly good business on a whim, put thousands out of work so someone can asset strip a company. I thought if I got involved with that I would write code to wipe the whole lot and that might not have been a good thing.
I still detest the concept of the Stock Market and trading in Futures and the like, to me it is just a betting shop.with an “acceptable” name and produces nothing of worth.
More Money For Nothing
The only way to have a decent income that you don’t work for is having a large amount of money in a high interest account or an idea that brings in money because people are willing to pay for it.
Since the 1970s money has been directed to fewer and fewer people, caused by wage suppression, and governments being bought and coming under control of banks and corporations.
In the seventies you never thought about buying a house because everyone could buy one, these days no one thinks about buying a house because no one can buy one and they are subject to many ruthless landlords (though I know at least one good one).
Everything is seen as a cash cow for corporations and banks and that includes health as well. Someone is ill, great, we can make them pay or bankrupt them. I am lucky that I live in the UK where my cancer has been treated and I didn’t give it a second thought, although our government is trying to destroy the NHS.
The thing is there is more than enough money in the world to give every person a good standard of living. Universal Basic Income which is a sociopolitical financial transfer policy proposal in which all citizens of a given population regularly receive a legally stipulated and equally set financial grant paid by the government without a means test. This is an affordable option that would require an end to tax avoidance, closing of tax havens such as the Cayman Islands, and a wealth tax on the extremely rich, which, let's face it, they would never notice.
An Ideal Conclusion
I have a thing on my bank account which they recently asked me if I wanted to keep. Each month I pay them five pounds then they give me six pounds back.Don’t ask me to explain but I said of course I want to keep it. The thinking is if I didn’t have five pounds in the first place I could not get the six pounds.
This is the thing you need money often to make easy money, so not an option for poor people.
I sincerely wish there was no poverty, but until a revolution comes there is unlikely to be a change in the system.

Quite interesting, thanks for the time
Totally agree with you. This is how the rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer
