Preview: Groups D and E
Group D South American giants Argentina are the first up, and they should make sure not to underestimate their Group D opponents. It could well be the last World Cup for Lionel Messi and therefore his last chance to crown a magnificent career. Unfortunately, I think their final appearance in Brazil four years was the best chance for Messi to win the greatest prize in international football. They will, of course, be one of the sides to look out for. They usually always are. This is more likely when you look at some of the names in their squad. As well as Messi, Sergio Aguero Gonzalo Higuain, and Angela Di Maria will be on show in Russia and with all of these on form, the top spot in Group D will be Argentina’s for the taking.

5 Youngsters to Keep an Eye on at the World Cup
Every four years, the FIFA World Cup rolls into town with players looking to lead their country to international glory. Some of these players are international superstars, some are lesser-known players who will probably play rotation with their national teams, and others are "diamonds in the rough." These "diamonds in the rough" are young players looking to showcase their abilities on the world's biggest stage. In 2014, it was James Rodriguez, who won the world cup golden boot and earned himself a transfer from AS Monaco to Real Madrid. In 2010 it was Mesut Ozil and Angel Di Maria, both transferring to Real Madrid. The point is that young talents always emerge and are snapped up by some of Europe's biggest clubs. Here are some of the potential big shots this summer:

The NBA Needs Queer Players
For a heterosexual NBA player currently in the league, it can almost be guaranteed that they feel absolutely no pressure being open about who they love, because who and how they love is considered "normal." The only real issue a heterosexual athlete having relationship-wise unless they are being unfaithful, secretly in love with someone of their own family, or legal issues. I hope for none of these things, but people are people and you never know what you’re going to get.

Players That Should Be in the World Cup
The World Cup is a time where star players get to truly shine in front of the whole world and represent their country by winning one of the most prestigious awards in sports. Sadly not all star players get to shine, and here are some of those players that were left out of their teams that should have been in Russia 2018.

Group C Preview
France are first up in group C. The hosts and losing finalists of Euro 2016 will be up for righting those wrongs in Russia. Two years ago, they fell at the final hurdle to a determined and well-drilled Portuguese side. Despite the defeat, they showed that their exciting and young squad is good enough to battle with the best in Europe. This summer, they’ll show that they can take on the world. A glance at this squad will tell you that they are a side lined with talent. Paul Pogba, N’Golo Kante, and Blaise Matuidi will undoubtedly create endless chances whilst simultaneously running the midfield and showing they are capable of scoring one or two themselves. There was a scare just days before the tournament began when Kylian Mbappe picked up an injury in training. It would be a blow for him to miss the tournament; however, it can be argued that they’ll probably have enough depth. Possible candidates to replace the PSG forward include Antoine Griezmann, Olivier Giroud and Nabil Fekir, so scoring goals won’t be an issue.

Best Footballs to Practice With
My son Jarret doesn't talk to me enough, so I want to have a good old fashioned father/son catch with him. My hope is that he'll forget to be guarded when throwing the old pigskin around and actually open up to me. Plus, if he learns how to catch better, he'll be among the first picked in gym. That's why there's so much at stake for me when I'm looking at the best footballs to practice with.

The Pro Fighter Who Appeared on 'Jeremy Kyle'
Accidentally I was watching Jeremy Kyle one day having my coffee and a piece of toast. I do sympathise with some of their guests as I feel they are exploited. Even the victims are paraded on TV and have their lives analysed in a mere 20 minutes. After a metaphorical sentence by 'Jezza' they are then carted off to be judged by Joe public or rehabilitated by his aftercare team. It's madness and probably has some long-winded political agenda behind it which I won't get into. On this particular morning, a girl called Kayleigh was having trouble with her man James who was said to be a serial cheat. After giving Jeremy Kyle the details, her man walked on as brazen as most guests are on the show. A really big bloke with a neck that looks the guy can take a good sock from an opponent. I'm a bit of a boxing anorak. I do watch too much fighting; whether it be mixed martial arts or the sweet science. There was something really familiar about this guy although at this point he was cussing his girlfriend, stating "you try living with that."

The Grind
To make a beautiful baseball bat you slowly use a gouge, whittling away at the wood as it turns. A baseball career tends to work in a similar fashion. You start as a raw player who needs to have his skills redefined after the exciting draft day occurs. The amount of whittling needed varies depending on age, skill, and IQ. This "whittling" or development all occurs in the same place, the minor leagues.
