I never expected to enjoy the Tokyo 2020 Olympics during the time of COVID-19, but it has been a pleasant surprise to say the least. The Canadian Olympic team (my home country) has shown some impressive resolve in certain competitions, like with women’s soccer, or the 10-person rowing.

Yes it is early, but we are kicking off the "Track & Field 2k22" season. The theme of the season is "Rise of the Woman." The meaning of the theme is that it is simply time. It is time for women's sports to have a serious space in the minds of sports fans. We are not comparing women's sports to men's sports. Women's sports are unique and show everyone that times are progressing and anything is possible.

It was an ordinary college football game, as games go. The East Carolina defensive end battled the Marshall University blocking back most of the night. The battle was fierce and violent at times. At one point the Marshall blocking back used the patented Marshall signature move; a forearm to the purple helmet of his opponent, “ringing the bell” of his adversary and cracking his helmet in such a way that it had to be replaced before the next play.
