(Re)name that Team
At the rate we’re going, the Miami Dolphins will be the only sports franchise with a name that doesn’t offend anyone. In the four major American sports (that don’t require gasoline), basketball, baseball, football, and hockey, they have been accused of insensitivity because of their names.

Bigger Stronger Faster
Something happens to kids’ sports as they reach the age of double digits. Something that is not only unnecessary but also serves to encourage a feedback loop of female athletes being viewed as less, treated as less, given less funding, and less attention. But splitting up sports based on sex doesn’t just hurt girls. It hurts boys as well as society as a whole. It excludes transgender athletes and sets up athletes who are unaware of their intersex status for humiliation. We can and must do better.

The great mystery, of the town of Edenburg, is just that to some of those whom have lived to live. But, to the few whom have lived exceedingly, that mystery has enveloped their existence and engulfed their emphasis inside of deafened hearing. A weight is upon Edenburg and it is awaiting for the prophetic smothering. This prophecy is laden with souls, as old as eons and as young as centuries, gifted with the moment of involvement and cursed with the speculation of knowledge without the language to profess. Forces that are new and old, wretched and righteous, subtle and outlandish are all in place to bring Edenburg to its inevitable reach. A 100-year prophecy fulfilled. The war between the 500 and the Hundred-Somethings. A clock without a tick or tock left to give. A day… that is today.

Canada is a Hockey Culture
When you hear the word Canadian what words come to mind ? Winter, Tim Horton's and definitely HOCKEY. Hockey is the one pastime that most Canadians have a story about. They either grew up with a guy who played hockey, they played hockey or they dated a hockey player. Whatever the story was, it's the one thing that united all Canadians together. It was a familiarity and even a comfortable place where everyone forgot their differences and got together to cheer for a game.

An Evening with the LA Galaxy
The last time I went to go see the LA Galaxy play was against the San Jose Earthquakes on Friday, August 20, 2021. This clash between the two teams is known as the California Clasico. The rivalry has been around since the league began in 1996, and it is probably the most hated team by the Galaxy fan base.
