How I Deal with My Life
Hi guys. My name is Ellie and I found out at the age of 16 that I have the condition PCOS. PCOS stands for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and it is where there are possibly some cysts on your ovaries which could cause fertility problems in the future. Thankfully, in my case, they did an ultrasound on my ovaries and found no cysts, yet I'm still on the spectrum for the condition, as I have all the signs that go along with it. These signs can be that it is harder to lose weight and that the fat mainly gathers around your stomach or mid region. Also, there's a higher chance of depression, acne, and possibly excessive hair growth all over your body.

5 Natural Hygiene Products That Actually Work
Choosing to eat a healthier diet was no doubt a huge lifestyle change for me. Not only did I have to adjust what and where I eat, but I began to start being mindful of what was in the foods I chose to eat. It didn't stop at just food, however, as I found myself taking another look at the ingredients of what I put onto my skin. So I dived into the world of natural hygiene products.

My Childbirth Experience
For me, labour and childbirth wasn't as so straight forward as many other mothers out there. Mine was kind of planned, in the sense of I had a date in which I had to go in and be induced. I was having low movements from the baby so I told the hospital and they told me to come in to monitor him. They did say everything was fine and normal but to be on the safe side that I should be induced. There have been some cases in which this has happened to women, where the baby has moved less in the belly and then suddenly the baby has sadly passed away, so they just wanted to reduce the risk of that.

You Never Forget Your First Time
My Grandpa died last month, just like the typical way all grandparents do eventually, taking secrets and stories along with them. It never actually hit me I don’t think. Not the way it did everyone else. Or maybe it did and I just didn’t want to show it whilst everyone else was sobbing. In a way—that I wouldn’t admit to anyone—it was terrifying. I try to act like I’ve seen it all before and that I’m more grown up than I am. I’m totally adamant to other people that I’m okay, I’m fine, it doesn’t bother me. I’m not really sure why but honestly I never saw it as a bad thing anyways. Not until every time I was about to cry I had to force it back down my throat with a reminder that I had to be strong because my family needed me. I started to realise that it didn’t feel okay and it actually hurt to make myself “un-sad.”

He Didn't Ask and He Knew Better
Just because you're in a relationship, does not mean that you should not ask for consent. It does not mean that you have ownership over your mate's body. And it doesn't mean that rape or being taken advantage of sexually, while in a relationship, comes up void. I know...because it happened to me.
