Dealing with Change
Change can be difficult to deal with no matter what age you are. No one really likes change. We get stuck in our routines. We get stuck in our habits. We basically work hard to get ourselves into a comfortable rut, and then we just stay there.

Meet Me in Guangzhou
My husband and I boarded the 15-hour flight to Guangzhou, China. We had spent the last fourteen months completing all the necessary paperwork, preparing our home, and packing and re-packing our suitcases. Finally, the time had come to meet our ten-month-old daughter for the first time.

Cloth Pads: Making the Switch
I had been thinking about making the switch from disposable menstrual pads to reusable cloth pads for quite a while—probably nearly a whole year. From the moment I first discovered them, I was intrigued. I wanted to be rid of the uncomfortable, irritating plastic feeling that made me dread my period and had wished for an alternative to feeling so gross for a week every month. Here it was, but I was still hesitant to make the investment.

My Hair Journey
Growing up in a household amongst two boys and two girls, you can only imagine how hard it was for my mum. Especially the fact she was basically on her own for the best... and worst parts of our upbringing. Now let's not get it twisted! Fortunately for us we did get to see our dad on a weekly basis and still to this day have a great relationship with him. He did his best to support us as a family and he did a great job at that. We all turned out... ok! 😃

My Cat is Crazy
Cats are arguably the most common and loved pet in the whole world. They are soft, cuddly, and totally think they are superior to us. I mean, in a way, they kind of are. We humans take them in, we feed them, we clean their litter boxes, and we live for their affection. Cats literally have the BEST setup. We cater to their every whim, and we don't expect them to do anything to earn it that they wouldn't do naturally.

It Feels Like We're Flying
A long dirt path lies ahead of us that gently curves around a corner. On one side, is a forest of densely packed trees and bushes. On the other, a wide park filled with bushes, and people. On some days, you might be lucky enough to see a few deer dotted around the park. Today was not one of those days. Maybe we'll see one later.
