A Sonnet to the Broken World
Amongst the tangled thorns and dripping poison depicting death, there lies pure beauty: beauty that's dying with each breath.Petals of pure scarlet, more intense than bloodwith even purer happiness hidden in the depths of the bud.The golden dust of magic, the little wonders that make our smilesmeant to be shared among the nation. A love-filled fragrance smelt for miles. The bees pick up the pollen to share with the flowers they touch. But now due to thorns and poison, they can't share that love as much.

Fantastic Men and Where to Find Them
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was not a perfect film, for me the script seemed unfocused as it jumped between the children's picture book-esque hunt for the escaped magic animals and the more serious (or should that be Sirius?) tale around Credence Barebone. Twenty years from now the film won't be as fondly remembered as the original Harry Potter series, but that's not to say there isn't anything groundbreaking about this film. What this film should be more lauded for is how it portrays Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne), the introverted carer who struggles with human relationships.

Too Beautiful
I remember when I had skin. I used to pride myself on my shell's beauty. I was always adorned with the best gems this earth has ever created, cinched in the finest materials, and the object of beauty that brought designers visions to life. I was flawless.

The Importance of Live Music
I’m hoping that everybody reading this has been to at least one live show in their time. If not, what the hell do you do with your time? Because mine is taken up by earning money for gig tickets, buying gig tickets, waiting for gig tickets to arrive, and going to gigs. My life revolves around it. If I were to list every band or artist that I have seen live, it could be well over 100. Since I went to my first gig on October 27th, 2010 (it was The Blackout at the Bristol O2 Academy), I’ve never stopped going to gigs.

Rock Triple Play: Tesla, Voices of Extreme, and Red Reign
The beautiful and historic Embassy Theater, originally opened in 1928 under the name Emboyd Theater, had a full house for a hard rock event. Tesla celebrated 30 years on tour along with two other excellent, but lesser known bands—Voices of Extreme and Red Reign.

Movie Review: 'The Wilde Wedding'
The Wilde Wedding has the chance to be a pretty great movie but lacks the courage to pull it off. The film brings together the talents of Glenn Close, John Malkovich and Patrick Stewart for a wedding comedy and the charm factor would be off the charts except that writer-director Damian Harris can’t resist mucking up the works by having the younger cast too often crowd out the more interesting veterans.
