Struggling to Survive
To the outside world, I am a successful, intelligent person with a wealth of possibilities in front of me. However, fear and doubt seem to permeate my every thought throughout the day and I wonder if I will ever find success. I recently completed a Ph.D. in education and have multiple peer-reviewed journal articles to date.

Who is Draco Malfoy?
Over the years, the Harry Potter fandom has conjured up many different theories, like Professor Snape being a vampire or Sirius Black and Remus Lupin being secret lovers. However, with little evidence supporting these theories many of them have been contradicted by not only the Harry Potter book series but by the author J.K. Rowling herself. Be that as it may, one theory that has yet to be disproved, is the idea that Draco Malfoy is, in fact, a werewolf.

In Defence of the Tank #3: WW1 Part 2 - The Arms Race Begins.
In the last article, we investigated the introduction of the tank and its premature battlefield debut at The Battle of Flers-Courcelette. By introducing the MK1 tank too early, and in numbers too few, the British were unable to fully capitalise on their new invention. Even more worrisome for the British, it gave the Germans the time and breathing room they needed to develop counters to it.

Best Oktoberfest Beers
Oktoberfest is a drinker's holiday, and to a point, it's where the best beers of the season battle like they're competing for a spot in Valhalla. It's a time when guys with beer bellies dress in lederhosen and wear beards while playing tubas, and a time when girls polka down like it's 1899.

To Smack or Not to Smack?
The debate on smacking is an interesting one in as much as there are not many fence-sitters on this subject: people either have no problem with it at all, saying “I was smacked as a child and it didn’t do me any harm” while others are vehemently against violence of any sort against children. Just using the word “violence” evokes very strong feelings in many who hit their children because they don’t consider smacking a child to be violence. The “no hitting” camp generally believe that we hit our children out of instantaneous anger, frustration, and basically because we don’t know what else to do.

"You Have Been Kicked From the Game"
LittleBigPlanet 2 is the sequel to LittleBigPlanet, and to most, it is considered the best installment in the LittleBigPlanet series. However, the online community isn't the best at times. If you're lucky, you'll run into a great group of players and make friends with them as you journey through community content. However, if you're unlucky like myself (and many others), you'll find that playing online is a very unpleasant experience.... And here's why:

Mental Illness: A Carer's Perspective
Being affected by mental illness, but not experiencing it. Everyone has mental health, and much like physical health, all of us experience difficulty at some point in our lives. I Rank My Top 5 Fast Food Chains
Okay, let's get straight to it. I'm from Washington DC; so as far as French fries and major fast food chains go, there are only about 5 to choose from. We are talking about McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, Chick-Fil-A, and Checkers. The fries will be judged based on their taste, texture, amount served (medium fry cup), and my own opinion will play a part in my rankings as well. If you disagree, comment your rankings. Any feedback is also welcome and appreciated to help me grow as a writer.

Calling All Chubsters
It’s considered rude to ask a woman her weight. Heck, it would be rude to ask a man. Women balk and blush at the idea of sharing that number or their dress size, and you can tell they are nearly always lying. But why? With the era we live in now — social justice warriors armed with the wunderkind "social media" — why is body shame even still an issue?
