It's Okay to Have an Opinion
If you've ever been expecting a baby, then you're familiar with the question. The first one that everyone, even strangers, will ask. The question on everyone's mind; the answer they're obsessed with knowing. Are you having a boy or a girl? Followed up with, "Which do you want?"

'The Boys' Casting News (Amazon 2019)
A few months ago I wrote about my excitement for the news that production was gearing up to start on Amazon's TV adaptation of Garth Ennis's The Boys. Some of the early casting had been announced, but here I'm going to run through the main character cast list for the recently wrapped Season 1 and look at how the casting matches up against the graphic novels characters.

The Noise
"Did you hear...." "He's so good..." "I didn't think he..." All of these things buzzing and whizzing around your head. All. Day. Long. From coaches to scouts, general managers, and teammates, everyone seems to have an opinion about the way you conduct yourself or performed. The less knowledge that one of these individuals holds the more dangerous and damaging that comment can be. The noise is never ending, the speculation even more so.

6 Phrases Mentally Ill People Are TIRED of Hearing
1. "It's all in your head." Ah. I wager everyone alive has heard this one, whether from a well-meaning coworker or a confused friend faced with the irritable, messy, realness of your emotions: it's all in your head. A lot of times, it's meant in a supportive way—maybe what they mean is, "One day, you won't feel like this," or "things aren't as bad as they seem," or "it's not your fault—it's your brain."

In the 20th and 21st century, women writers have begun to speak up and truly make their voices heard. Young women, women of color, and women writers of all races and backgrounds are taking the stage and letting their creativity flow. Some of the most notable feminist literary authors such as Mary Wollstonecraft, Alice Walker, Kate Millett, and Simone de Beauvoir paved the way for more recent generations of feminist writers. The First Backpacking Trip: What I Should Have Done
In May this year I embarked on my first ever backpacking adventure. In fact it was my first time leaving Europe at all. The destination was Vietnam, a journey beginning in the south with the sprawling city of Ho Chi Minh and ended in the north with the dazzling capital of Hanoi. So on one warm evening in May, my travel buddy and I began the two day ordeal of reaching South East Asia (it definitely paid off in the end). Here are some basic things I learnt along the way that may help you if like me, you're a first time traveller and are feeling a bit overwhelmed.

The Leaders of Rock's Next Generation
Every era of rock music breeds legends. There's always a certain few who carry the torch for their genres, whose music stands the test of time and inspires the next generation of musicians to come. Ten years ago, it was Paramore, Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance leading the charge. Five years ago, it was Black Veil Brides, Pierce The Veil and Sleeping With Sirens who had just blown up, bringing post-hardcore to a new generation of fans. But who is set to follow them?

All around the world, private industry and government agencies are racing to expand the availability of high-speed internet access to as many communities as possible. They're doing it because they've recognized that in the digital age, broadband internet access is as valuable to an economy as steam power and electricity were to the economies of the industrial revolution. As we head further into a future that's certain to be filled with Internet of Things (IoT) devices and autonomous vehicles and the like, the need for a robust and reliable internet infrastructure will only become more acute.

Soulstice's Kickstarter Campaign Gives You a New Way to Save the Rainforest, One Bracelet at a Time
Deforestation is destroying rainforests at a rate of more than 1.5 acres per second. If that rate remains steady, that means that 47.3 million acres of rainforest will disappear each year. The impact this destruction has on our planet is almost incomprehensible. Considering that the Amazon rainforest houses almost half of the world’s known species—many of them already endangered—as well as provides more than 20 percent of the Earth's oxygen, this level of destruction could very well wipe out thousands of species in just the next few years, and permanently alter our global ecosystem. With extinction rates rapidly expanding, and the forest rapidly disappearing, there will soon be no Amazon to visit.

Dick Pic Etiquette
“Can you believe he sent me this?” Girls will often ask, thrusting their phone in the faces of their gay friends. Most of the time it is a picture of a man’s penis. More often than not, the man sending the intimate picture has not even asked the lady on a date yet or worse they just started talking. Before you send the next dick pic, read these rules, they’ll help!
