How to Use Chopsticks
Peter and Fred boarded a plane six days after I arrived in Beijing. I was busying myself snapping photos at every turn, recording expenses and conversations, for the Travel feature. The sunlight slanted across my frequent haunt, the Palace Museum, in the early mornings of a beautiful spring. I satisfied my homesickness for Washington, D.C. by wandering through this temple to the arts. For the sake of the article, I’d also visited the typical tourist destinations of China, and was now preparing to tour various Buddhist temples in and around the city. I set out for Biyun Si, the Temple of the Azure Clouds. I never got to any temple beyond it.

My Ten Dollar Camera
Taking photographs has been a hobby of mine for over a decade and I am only 18. Clearly photography has evolved from a hobby of mine to a passion in that time. I began shooting with anything that had a camera whether that be my parents' cell phones or even my Nintendo DS. I moved onto taking photos with my iPod Touch when I wanted an upgrade. Within a few years I had a Sony Cybershot because it was my chance to take photographs on a device meant to take photographs. When I saved enough money, I then purchased a Nikon D3200 and thought I was a professional all of a sudden. Around this time I was also beginning to take photos on my first iPhone. By the time I was 16 my Nikon broke where the lens attaches to the body, so I had to save for and purchase a new one. This time I switched to Canon, and purchased a Rebel T6i. Since then, I have not purchased another digital camera, unless you consider iPhone upgrades.

Acid Box Meaning
Hello, I am Anti Clvtch. It's nice of you guys to drop by. I am an artist and brand owner, my Instagram is @anti.clvtch. If you would like to check out my page and watch my journey feel free to follow and keep tabs on the page. Now this acid box used to just be some complete and utter accident that I made the first day I decided to do a collage art-style, which is basically finding a bunch of pictures and making them come together to form something completely different or completely random. I choose to make it look psychedelic and trippy because I like making art that makes people just say "WTF" out loud.

14 Totally Tubular Songs From 1984 That 'American Horror Story' Fans Must Listen to Now
American Horror Story is back, and Season 9 of Ryan Murphy's FX anthology series is taking viewers back in time to 1984. Fans couldn't be more excited about the show going retro with its references to 80s slasher flicks like Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street, and, judging from the series' new opening credits, AHS: 1984 is going to feature an awesome soundtrack.

It’s not that I didn’t want to go to Warsaw. It’s just that I’d heard Krakow was better. But we go where the budget airlines will take us. We go where we can afford to go. And any new place has its appeal. I generally find something to like about every European city I’ve visited. So we went to Warsaw anyhow.

Are You That Snorlax Blocking Your Own Path?
Heyo guys! If you have ever played or watched Pokemon in your life, you might have realized what I'm talking about here. There is this giant Snorlax which sleeps in the middle of the road, blocking the path; and if you are playing it for the first time, then like me, you might have had no clue what to do, but you totally want to capture it... sorry to be the bearer of the bad news, but it's not gonna happen (unless you play some more and get a flute).

Everybody Does Machu Picchu Wrong
These days it seems like everyone has been to Machu Picchu. Your friends plaster selfies of themselves at the famous lost city with the same enthusiasm of Hollywood directors showing their latest imagining of some two-bit hoodlum slaughtering Batman's parents.

Second Hand September
I recently discovered the Second Hand September challenge via the wonderful world of Instagram. The premise of the challenge is that you don't buy ANYTHING new for the entire month of September, and in turn you help save the planet, and you also probably help you bank account out as well.

10 Video Game Quotes That Hit Me Hard
I’ve been playing video games since I was a kid, back when I was filled with anxiety and had a hard time with multiplayer games. I still do have a hard time playing PUBG, even though I paid the full $30 to have it on my computer. I’ve thought about Overwatch, knowing its ranking systems and awesome story beyond team-based online gameplay could maybe fit my style a bit better. But I think it’s just the way I am—I prefer story-based games that I can enjoy at my own pace, without having to rely on others.

LJ: The Aperture Amateur
Everybody has a passion in life that brings them copious amounts of joy. We all seek to have an aesthetic that we'd love to develop and mould in order to create something beautiful on a daily basis. For me, especially as of late, has been photography. Having a best friend who lives and breathes her photography inspired me to pursue and nurture my love for it.

Just Me and My Camera
I've always been a creative/arty kid since high school, but I just wasn't able to find a medium that really resonated with me in terms of how I wanted to express myself as a creator/artist. Throughout the years, my practice ranged from pencil, charcoal, and pastel drawings to acrylic, water-colour, and oil paintings, none of which seemed to work as well as I hoped. Sure they were beautiful in their own ways, however there was a personal connection with the media that was lacking.
