Your Vote Counts

First off, I would like to start off by discussing my organization of choice, and how much of an impact that they have had on this up-and-coming election. This election is essential to our future, and I believe that this organization took the steps necessary in presenting just how crucial it is that if you are of the age of eighteen and older, this year is the time to register in voting and to take part in making a difference this coming election. Just how they have had an impact on delivering the message? And just how they went about bringing communities together, I'm talking about Twitch. And this is how they encouraged an entire array of people to register and vote this election for the next president of the United States.

Twitch made possibly the biggest power move that other organizations could only imagine and pretend that they had the tools for, and were able to pull off in a timely manner. Not only did Twitch run a plethora of advertisements to spread the awareness to get out and vote, but they also encouraged many high-level streamers to spread awareness. One of the biggest plays they did was getting AOC and Ilhan Omar to play along-side a group of large numbered viewer count pulling streamers to play one of the most popular games of our time, Among Us. Oh, and whom I mean by AOC? Why, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, of course. Undoubtedly, one of the most well-known and well-respected congress members of our United States Congress. AOC is not only popular across America but is popular in the gaming community. Why? Because she's a gamer, too! AOC made history by bringing in and maintaining a total of 439,000 concurrent viewers on her channel. Pairing up with Pokimane and Hasanabi, it was a success overall! Never has any streamer in the history of Twitch achieved the milestone that she put forth, but never did they do it like AOC to have a great cause in their utility. It was a glorious and historical day to encourage the masses to stand for what is important for our country, and that is to make a difference by voting for this election.

The worst thing that you can do is vote for the silent majority (Meaning, not voting at all). You have two different candidates, with two completely different agendas. Whomever reigns supreme in the electoral voting will go down the complete opposite route that their opponent decides to go about in leading America. People will have their opinions about each of the candidates, and whether they are positive speculations or negative outlooks, is up for debate. Just remember, it is America's first amendment that we the people are entitled to these opinions. This is what helps in keeping the gears running. It is why politics are involved in our day to day lives. The best thing that you can do is educate yourself on each of the candidates along with any other 3rd party candidates on the ballot. Also, don't forget about the House and Senate candidates, as well. The presidential race isn't just the only thing to be the primary focus on. Do your research and look up information about each Democratic and Republican candidate for your state and for the different offices on the ballot. The last thing that you want to do is speed through an electoral ballot without knowing the proper information needed in choosing whom YOU believe is the essential choice that America needs! Doing your research before filling out an electoral ballot will help with making the process a lot less time consuming and help you to know that you made the choice that you believe is fit for your country and your state.

Remember, every election is important and should be treated as crucial when it comes to who we want to lead our country. But with two candidates having two completely different standpoints from one another, this election is going to be one for the books!
