Virginia man pleads not guilty to charges in DC pipe bomb case

Brian J. Cole Jr., of Woodbridge, Virginia, entered the plea at a brief hearing on Friday.

White boys sure know how to party. Brian J. Cole, Jr. has been accused of planting two pipe bombs outside of the Democratic and Republican national party headquarters.

While he has pleaded not guilty, the Department of Justice authorities claim Cole confessed to the dastardly plot. He could face up to 20 years in prison.

But this unmelinated alleged attempted bomber would be dead if his skin had been just a few shades darker.

This miscreant planned to do harm ahead of the breaching of the Capitol just hours before MAGA nutcases rushed the barriers. What this speaks to is the double standard in the system of law enforcement. While it is blatantly biased and racist, it is also unfair. If a young man who happens to be black is sentenced to life in prison for cocaine distribution, why wasn’t this man set up to spend the rest of his days in a hole?

The way that he felt about the Joe Biden election of 2020 was that it was a sham. He wanted to ensure that the people at the top got the message, so he targeted both parties' National Committee headquarters. This is beyond worrisome. It won’t be major news either. Because of the nature of no victims, there will be little to no coverage of this man’s devious plot.

His behavior should constitute at least seven hundred years behind bars based on the threat alone. In keeping with his own myth, he wished only to see the world burn. It would’ve been a spectacular sight to see, more than Fourth of July on the Capitol. Imagine all the chaos and screaming and utter carnage based on irrationalism.

There is no God, but thank God this scene did not play out like he had intended. But that’s the unmelinated way of life. He says, “I can do whatever I wish and damned if I’m caught. I’ll have to live to recount the story.”

Punishment to the fullest extent of the law would require a minimum mandatory sentence of five years imprisonment. To go beyond that would of course be ideal. If President Trump were to pardon Cole, that would be a travesty and a thorough miscarriage of the law.

Cole deliberately and without regard, planned to blow up the headquarters to have someone “speak up” against the outcome of the election. Knowledge of the bombs lead Cole to say he “hoped there would be news about it.” Again, no bloodshed, no ink shed is the name of this nefarious game. With the amount of social media coverage alone, there may’ve been casualties but fortunately, Cole’s wishes collapsed. He found himself in a corner he could not fight his way out of in any fashion.

What his delusions and disillusionment of the government system shows is a sad little man who never grew past the stage of an adolescent. Instead of petitioning the government, writing, protesting on private property in a manner that didn’t interfere with anyone else, he could have exercised all of these rights. Instead, he stooped to the level of a brute and never grasped what it meant to be a man of reason.

As an effect, he should be sighing with relief that he didn’t lose his life. Rather than being a productive, self-interested individual, the ogre came out of him. He showed himself to be a vicious would-be attacker that will now face justice as he should. There’s no getting around the fact that this man doesn’t represent every white man. That is obvious. What should be pointed out is why do the majority of cases like this crop up with people with lighter complexions, for the protection, for collection?
