Trump Admits He Could Lose.

Trump Trails Harris.

Reality may be dawning in the mind of the former POTUS (President of The United States), he may lose. Trump is normally upbeat and defiant but two brushes with death via thwarted assassination attempts may have made him think. No doubt, Trump still wants to win the presidential race, however, having been within inches of leaving this life, Trump may have had time to reflect. Maybe, winning or losing doesn't matter to him anymore. Maybe, he is realizing there is more to life than being President of the United States. I am speculating here but who knows what goes through people's minds.

Since Kamala Harris at 59 has come on the scene it has rocked Trump and His team. All of Trump's campaign was targeted at Biden, especially, after the debacle of the Presidential Debate back in July. Trump at 78 remained cognitive while poor old Biden bumbled and stumbled along. Trump thought he had it in the bag. That come November 5, Trump would be strolling into the White House (in January) to take up His second term as President. Interrupted by the victory of Biden which he still alleges to this day was rigged. However, Trump's joy was short-lived. Biden, for one reason or another, dropped out of the race but will remain President until January. Biden nominated His VP (Vice-President) Kamala Harris to be His successor.

Thus Kamala stepping forth to replace Biden must have been a nightmare for Trump and His team. Late in the day, Trump and His team had to do a 360-degree about-turn to target a new foe, in Harris. Trump and Harris met in a televised debate. Since then Trump has declined to debate with Harris again. Is it because he thinks he's still got in the bag? That despite trailing Harris in the latest polls by some miracle, he will emerge victorious? Or has he realized he was up against a formidable woman, he underestimated? When Trump says things like he is better looking than Ms. Harris, it shows Trump is desperate and scraping the barrel. Of course, polls can be wrong, and polls can change. Trump could still win. But for sure, the emergence of Kamala Harris has certainly fired up the race for the White House.

Critics of Kamala Harris say she remains largely untested at least in the field of politics. They point to when Biden put her in charge of the southern border. Some say she blew that because, on her watch, migrants stormed over the border. So, whether this is a reflection of her as President, will remain to be seen. Can you judge someone on one mistake, but don't we all make them?

Harris is known to be quite left-wing on many issues as is her running mate. Kamala Harris has quite a mixed background. Being Indian and Jamaican. She is a professing Christian though her pro-abortion stance rattles anti-abortion Christians. She seems quite pro-Palestinian but at the same time very much an Israel supporter. Her meeting with Netanyahu was lukewarm and awkward. Her husband Doug Emhoff is Jewish. Kamala has no children of her own, however, she is stepmother to Mr. Emhoff's kids, two teenage boys. Many see Kamala as down-to-earth and from a more humble background than Trump. However, a humble background does not necessarily make one a great leader. Coming from a better-off background does not make one a better leader either. Leadership is something you have or haven't and it's as simple as that!

So in the dying days of Joe Biden's Presidency, come November 5, we will know who will be steering the future of the US and to some degree, the entire Western World.
