The Grand Con.

The biggest ever confidence trick.

All successful confidence tricks are based on an element of truth, which makes the “story” they weave seem possible. All confidence tricks rely on appealing to their targets greed, or their fear.

The biggest con in the history of the world involves climate change; the truth element is that on earth, global climate change is occurring, it is always occurring, it is a facet of the planet's gradual evolution. The target's fear is the motivator. The trick of those running the scam is to slightly distort truth and make millions believe that, if they part with their money and give control to the tricksters, all will be saved.

In reality global climate change is a constantly occurring fact of life. It was occurring before humans evolved and it will continue until the sun expands and burns the planet to nothing. Those advocating “green policies” to save the world are doing so to ensure that politicians continue in power despite enforcing unpopular tax systems on the people. They are also ensuring that the green technology corporate bodies make profits that otherwise they would not. If there was not the cry of “we must do this to save the planet,” would millions of people subsidise wind farms by paying extra for electricity? It is this extra high charge that ensures a profit for the wind farm owners. If there was no subsidy, the saving-the-earth companies would not build wind farms and they would not supply electricity. They exist for profit, not to save the planet. The great rush to change all vehicle propulsion systems to lithium reliant storage of electricity, is another. Do these companies do their work for the good of the planet or for the good of their shareholders? There are other systems in development that are less reliant on lithium-based batteries, but the politicians and activists are being rushed to force reliance on systems that may well be outdated within 10 years, not that this will bother the great conspirators; they will have made their profits from all electric vehicles, wind and solar generation and will have switched investments to the new replacement generation systems.

The big danger caused by this whole distortion is that the world is focused on trying to stop the inevitable and refusing to seek global scale coping stratagems. If we carry on like this for the next 50 years, the geography of the planet will slowly change without there being a worldwide agreement on how to cope with the human displacement this will bring. When the reality hits home, the first reaction of every nation will be to protect its own boarders and people. Chaos and the possibility of war will emerge.

What we need, to prevent this, is firstly, a realistic, dispassionate scientific and above all honest and unbiased forecast of what changes will occur during the next 500 years. Those with political influence to be gained and those with financial incentives must be removed from this evaluation. At the same time as this geographic evaluation is taking place, we need an equally honest and evidence based, science study of the future changes to such things as energy provision, food production, automation and the effect of artificial intelligence. Put these together and reform the United Nations into an entity that is useful to all the people, not just the vast number of bureaucrats earning salaries from it. Use the UN to get agreement on population reductions and to the actions needed to cope with the expected changes. Maybe they can form a standing committee on climate change BUT and ONLY if all vested interests are permanently removed, no sponsored scientists paid by the Lithium miners or wind generation companies. Nor by the oil producers, coal mines etc. NO vested interests, no politics or national interests, just open honest evidence-based science—ALL working papers and records to be open to public scrutiny at any time.

The big need is to keep politics and commerce out of the fact finding, let science and honesty be the only criteria. The lives of all the people on planet earth, for the next thousand years, are far too important to allow politicians and profit motives get involved in any way.

The controllers of this great con have been very skilful in getting the young involved while they have the vigour and energy for action without the experience and skepticism that causes older people to examine what they are told with greater care. Very few of the younger generation ever actually question the motives of the guiding forces, or if they have been sold an idea they can agree with and morally support. The skill of the manipulators has been to say to the younger generations that everything is the fault of older people. The obstacles are caused by “ancient” people. The young have always, throughout history, believed they know better than their elders and that their interests are held back by their parents. These things are not necessarily true but no youth will stop to question the motivation of some one telling them it is true.

Cause enthusiasm, give passion and promise rewards; and you do not have to actually explain in detail why you want others to make your demands for you. The grand con is on.
