British Government Is Failing to Govern
British government is failing to govern. July 2019 GET OUT OF EU AND GET ON WITH GOVERNING BRITAIN. The sooner we get a government working on domestic issues, the better, so much sheer stupidity needs sorting, the bureaucrats have had a wonderful free time with all political attention and energy focused on leaving the EU. As a result, the government and the nation urgently needs to make changes, I am sure many things can be listed, but here are a couple.

Censorship and Alternative Media
Censorship and Alternative Media: How harsher regulations inspire resistance Introduction “According to Freedom House (2015), about 86% of the world’s population resides in partially or fully censored mass media environments, making citizen political communication in censored media systems the global norm” (Behrouzian, Nisbet, Dal, & Çarkoğlu, 2016, p. 1). A great deal of communication research focuses on relatively open environments; therefore, it is important to find out how motivated resistance and alternate communication methods allow new ideas to enter societies experiencing restrictions. Journalists are often subjected to sanctions, intimidation, and other forms of punishment by governments around the world. However, in the eyes of viewers, perception of availability is more important than the supply or institutional views on said media content. It is important to study the effects of censorship and the alternatives for motivated citizens (Nisbet & Stoycheff, 2013). A study titled “Resisting Censorship: How Citizens Navigate Closed Media Environments,” summarized in this assignment, explored how individuals reacted to media censorship. This area of study is relevant given big tech’s recent crackdown on various alternative media pundits in the U.S.A. It may be wise for citizens in the west to prepare themselves for navigating a restricted system.

The Venezuela Crisis
So what's going on? Venezuela has been going down a dangerous path for years. The problems began with political discontent and corrupt officials, leading to extreme hyperinflation and shortages of food and medicine. When Maduro, the current President, was in his first term of office, his leadership sent the economy into a freefall and many citizens place the blame on his socialist government. He was widely disliked, therefore when he was re-elected into a second term in May of 2018, everyone was suspicious.

Never-Ending Story of Corruption in Ukraine
Corruption had been a widespread and growing problem in Ukraine, way before the collapse of the USSR, when Soviet nature was present and country’s leaders used to be integrated in communist ruling elite. After the disintegration of the USSR in 1991, current Ukrainian politicians established an authoritarian-oligarchic governance regime in Ukraine. Sadly, according to Corruption Perception Index 2017, Ukraine is the sixth most corrupt country in Europe and 130th in the world.

Assassination, Deceit, and Deception
What does the United States stand for today? The ideals that America was founded on were never before combined ... Liberty, justice, education, and morality these four basic principles were the basis that our democracy was founded on. But, in 1871 our core principles were basically stripped away by treasonous acts by our very own Congress. There have been many scholars who question the validity of what the Act of 1871 did to the United States. Yet, there is undeniable truth that the Act of 1871 was a direct result of the money changers influence on Congress to deceive the American public. Too many of us ever since 1871 haven't realized that our own government has been a Corporation created by the Act of 1871. Reference to Art. 1, 8, cl. 17. firmly stipulates that the government of the United States turned into a Corporation where citizens rights became privileges. This act turned a nation of sovereign individuals into a nation of servitude. One has to wonder why the American public have been deceived and oblivious to what our own government has done and continues to do to the American public.

Do People Realize We Are in Charge?
We have come to live in a world where we are beholden to the government. It should not be this way, the government should be beholden to us, but we have seriously lost our way in this country. Our leadership has become used to living off the people and expecting it. The problem with this is they have become accustomed to living the high life and never having to be held accountable for anything. Capital Hill comes and goes with their everyday lives and we are oblivious to the fact that is ruining the chances we have to ever have equality among the classes in this country.

Grand Theft Government
In my experience as a management consultant and professor, I have found that there really are three types of executives. Whether in the private or public sectors—and in the largest and smallest of organizations—the people who manage people really are of three basic mindsets when it comes to being in charge—and responsible for—the actions of others.

Climate Change and a New Conspiracy Theory
What facts are indisputable, if not widely known, about climate change? Climate change has been happening since planet Earth was first formed. Geologists, historians and archaeologists, can show that at various times, areas that are now deserts were under the sea. They know that at times in history, ice has covered far more of the land mass than is covered now. They know that at other periods the ice receded further than it is now.

10 Pieces of Evidence Used in Paul Manafort's Trial
Paul Manafort's trial—or trials—is finally drawing to a close. His first trial kicked off on July 31, 2018. The man was indicted on a number of charges, including conspiracy against the United States, money laundering, and obstruction of justice, among others. Special Counsel Robert Mueller discovered evidence of Manafort's wrongdoing during his investigation into the presidential campaign of Trump. From a tense jury selection to repeated back and forth confrontations between Manafort's lawyer, Thomas Zehnle, and Judge T. S. Ellis III, the trial captured the nation's attention. The trial at the federal court in Alexandria resulted in guilty verdicts for eight charges, prompting Manafort to take a plea before his second trial, scheduled to take place in D.C. There likely won't be many juicy tidbits from those proceedings, but what we already know is scintillating, and begs the question as to whether or not the United States of America is shifting from a democracy to a plutocracy.

Why the UK and US Have Yemeni Blood on Their Hands
The conflict in the Arab nation of Yemen has raged for over three years and cost thousands of lives. It has also been a root cause of one of the world’s largest ever man-made famines, affecting over 12 million people. So why have we heard so little of it on the news in the West until very recently? And why have most of the wealthier nations on the planet seemingly turned their back on Yemen?

The Indictment of the Decade: How Russian Nationals Took D.C.
(OCT 31, 2017)—Halloween: a holiday that, year after year, inspires fright in both young and old. This year in particular, Washington is among the many places left pallid from the chilled October air after the federal indictment of Washington regulars Paul Manafort, Jr. and Richard W. Gates. Just one day ago, DC courts demanded that these two turn themselves in under the pretense of committing acts of conspiracy, in addition to 11 other counts including money laundering and false statements under oath. This is the culmination of months of work from FBI special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigations into Russian collusion with United States elections processes and politically-affiliated lobbying and managerial groups. U.S. intelligence agencies officially concluded in January that Russia interfered in the election to defeat Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton through a campaign of hacking and releasing embarrassing emails, and disseminating propaganda via social media to discredit her campaign.
