Rise Up
We the people. If you live in the US, you've heard those three words (and probably at least part of the statement after it) more times than you can count. Out of the entire constitution, these three words have been drilled into our minds since we could even say "politics" — but do we really hold enough value to them? It's easy to memorize a line or statement and repeat it like a broken record. The part where a lot of us seem to lose interest is in analyzing what exactly the speaker meant. We know it's important, but we don't really care why, and that needs to change.

Valuing the Environment in an Administration That Doesn't
It's no wonder you don't really see signs that say "Environmentalist for Trump" at certain rallies (even klan). Donald Trump pretty much stands for everything us tree huggers hate. From electing Scott Pruitt, a former Attorney General of Oklahoma who once described himself as a "Leading advocate against EPA's activist agenda" as the 14th Administrator of the EPA to tweeting about Climate Change skepticism roughly 115 times, environmentalist are at a lost for words.

This durable philosophy of “true womanhood” further ordained that women should be more religious than men — pure of heart, mind, and body, as well as submissive to the men in their lives. America: The Real Problem
In today's society, we are facing multiple dilemmas. Terrorists roam the busy streets of every country, every continent, and every city filled with innocent faces. Hate fills the rooms and hallways in which we walk down, our own minds overwhelmed by our own internal quandary to stop and reassure the one sitting in the corner with eyes burning into their skull because of their skin tone, the way they are dressed, or the hand they are clutching which just happens to be of their own gender. Bullies torment our children in places that should only be filled with laughter and infinite knowledge, contaminating them into places of fear and anxiety. In each one of these predicaments lies one common knowledge as one reason for these evil doings: Prejudice.

You Cannot 'Escape' Racism
These arguments have been going on for a long, long time. I know a lot of us are feeling heavy right now, especially with the protests, and the violence, and shootings, and wave after brutal wave of seemingly endless pain and suffering. I haven’t gotten involved up until this point, but something happened earlier this week that has prompted me to no longer remain silent. I want to use this example, specifically, as a highlight for the protests and violence erupting over race. (Also, as an example to my White brothers and sisters in here, in case they’re in a similar situation and might not know how to go about it.)

My First Protest
The Conservative Party Conference was in Manchester last week, and plenty of people were unhappy about it. This isn’t a huge surprise as they’re lagging behind in the polls, social problems are rife, and the government is single-mindedly pushing through a disastrous exit from the European Union — a move that will leave the UK worse off on just about every metric. Still, we have to respect the Will of the People — even if they’re too uninformed to know what’s good for them (the UK media and government have become notorious for downplaying the EU's successes in Britain and exaggerating the negatives).

And, the Carnage Continues
Could it be that the times of today are masked by the Devil's hand? One has to wonder considering the carnage that played out in Las Vegas. The perpetrators of calamity continue to carry out their heinous acts of unspeakable terror. Each violent act is proceeded by yet another more devastating slaughter of innocent lives. We have to remember that it was just about a year ago that another willful act of senseless murder eclipsed yet another murderous atrocity that was carried out before. It is as though every year there is yet another more tragic senseless loss of life by someone that is willfully aware of what they do. It doesn't help that the United States has by far the largest collection of deadly weapons of any other nation that are in the hands of their citizens either.

No Nazis in Our Gothenburg
Weeks before the media began to whip up sensationalist articles about the coming march. Thousands of violent left-wing protesters would descend upon the streets of Gothenburg they said. The dreaded Antifa, who “were equally as bad as the Nazis,” would be there too. The day before, the free Metro newspaper ran the headline “places to stay away from this Saturday.”
