For a small amount of perspective during these crazy times, imagine you were an American born in 1900. When you are 14, World War I starts, and ends on your 18th birthday with 22 million people killed. Later in the year, a Spanish Flu epidemic hits the planet and runs until you are 20. Fifty million people die from it in those two years. Yes, 50 million.

When you're 29, the Great Depression begins. Unemployment hits 25%, global GDP drops 27%. That runs until you are 33. And there was no welfare, food stamps or bailout money. You were mostly on your own. The country nearly collapses along with the world economy. When you turn 39, World War II starts. You aren’t even over the hill yet.
When you're 41, the United States is fully pulled into WWII. Between your 39th and 45th birthday, 75 million people perish in the war and the Holocaust kills six million. At 52, the Korean War starts and five million perish.
At 64 the Vietnam War begins, and it doesn’t end for many years. Four million people die in that conflict. Approaching your 62nd birthday you have the Cuban Missile Crisis, a tipping point in the Cold War. Life on our planet, as we know it, could well have ended. Great leaders prevented that from happening.
As you turn 75, the Vietnam War finally ends. Think of everyone on the planet born in 1900. How do you survive all of that? A kid in 1985 didn’t think their 85 year old grandparent understood how hard school was. Yet those grandparents (and now great grandparents) survived through everything listed above.
Perspective is an amazing art. Let’s try and keep things in perspective. Let’s be smart, help each other out, and we will get through all of this. In the history of the world, there has never been a storm that lasted. This too, shall pass.
Ashley Mcbryde & Craig Wayne Boyd of Texas Hill who were in the audience loved my original song and jumped on stage to sing it with me at The Local in Nashville.
It was so amazing I got sit at The Local in Nashville as we had time of reflection and silence for racial healing and sang inspirational songs and a few covers songs in a bar with my new friend Ashley Mcbryde.
Thank you so much for asking me to sing with you around the edge of the stage that night after your show at The Local in Nashville. Thank you to Terri Jo & Blue Foley for helping me get on stage and sing a few originals!
We sang till 3 am in the morning. This is how you get thru! You sing inspirational after hours a in bar!

.......take a look at my charitable work with Map International aka Medical Assistance Program! I was once a victim of medical neglect from ages 11-14 (being refused medical treatment because of cult teachings). Because of my Cult survivor story and book From Cult To Country (An Asthmatics Journey to Find More Air) I am now an artist advocate for the MAP Int'l.
My Forbes top charity MAP International aka Medical Assistance Program and their work serving 13-20 million with medications to 3rd world countries. Providing 🎭 🧤 sanitizers during covid 19!
Below is an example of how Map International provides medical assistance especially in the aftermath of hurricanes. This was Hurricane Dorian.
Every year two billion people live without access to medicines they desperately need.Your generosity can make a huge difference to help us provide medicines and health supplies to those in need around the world so they might experience life to the fullest. For every dollar you contribute, you help MAP International provide more than $84 in donated medicines and health supplies to people in need.
We can make this statement because MAP receives generous donations of medicines and health supplies and has relatively low expenses. Last year alone, we were able to provide nearly $525 million in medicine and health supplies with just over $9 million in total cash expenses, including $6.2 million in program expenses.
