Protecting the most Vulnerable
Human Rights, Anti-Abortion, Helping Women

Abortion; the violent act of killing of an unborn baby whilst still in the womb. Under no circumstances should a child ever be killed, and for abortion to be normalised as a 'right'.
This article is a list of common pro-choice arguments and a rebuttal of them.
1) Women have the right to choose as it's their body.
No - women do NOT have any more rights than an unborn child, (or men for that matter). It is also not their body; it's the babies' body - the mother and baby are 2 separate people. From the moment of conception, you are a baby with new DNA, and a completely new human being in the most vulnerable state. The Equality and Human Rights Commission Article 2 states: The Right to Life; no one can infringe on this right or take another person's life.
2) The child was conceived in rape/incest.
A violent conception does not diminish the humanity of the child. Women who have been raped/victims of incest, need justice, compassion, counselling and help. Abortion is a violent act. To use violence to respond to violence causes further pain and hurt to women, and an abortion does not take away the pain of being raped. A children in rape make up less than 1% of all rapes, and more women would much rather choose to keep the baby as the baby brings incredible healing from the rape. Examples include Jennifer and Jeff Christie - Love Louder, and Heather Hobbs Pro-Life; both of whom are outspoken pro-life activists.
3) All pro-lifers have to adopt.
No we don't. Just because those who are pro-life fight for the rights of the unborn, it does not mean that we are required to adopt. The adoption argument is actually a diversion from the abortion argument, and you never hear pro-choicers talking about adopting a child. Abortion does not reduce the number of children in foster care or adoption agencies.
4) I'm not ready to be a mother
Saying that you are not ready to be a mother, massively underestimates the inner strength that women have. Not everyone feels ready to be a mother, and even if you do not want a child, you do not need to kill your baby - it just makes you a parent to a dead child. Children can bring so much joy in your lives. If a woman is adamant that they do not want their child, they can put the baby up for adoption. On a side note; abortion harms women who are infertile; there are women who are desperate to have a child, and yet they cannot conceive. Furthermore, abortion is traumatic. Women who have had abortions experience higher levels of anxiety and depression,
5) I cannot afford to have a child
For women who are struggling financially, there is always help available! Whether it's some form of child tax-credit, a child benefit, your local pregnancy centre, or whether family and friends can help - there is always a way! Abortion does not make a woman rich, nor does it change her financial situation. Abortion does not solve the issue of poverty either, nor will it ever solve it.
It's a foetus, and not a person.
The word 'foetus', is Latin, and means child, so to use the term fetus, is actually confirming that it is a baby. Science confirms that life begins at conception, disproving this argument.
The founder of what is now Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, was a eugenicist, a racist, and believed that women should be limited in the number of children that they have (Angela Franks, 2014). She believed that women from lower socio-economic backgrounds ought to "kill the child, as it would be the most compassionate thing to do". She also believed that women from Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) backgrounds needed to have more abortions to keep this demographic. Additionally, she also believed that women with mental health issues, epilepsy, and other medical conditions should be segregated and have more abortions. She was a eugenicist, racist and prejudiced woman, and abortion statistics highlight this.
To briefly summarise this article; abortion is NOT healthcare. It is eugenics, prejudice, discrimination, it disempowers women and causes more harm that good on society. Abortion is a breach of the most basic human right to life, should be banned and made illegal.
