Have you guys heard about the purchase boycott that's going to happen this year?

People sleep on sidewalks to get into their favorite department stores starting at midnight, in snow and cold. They fight each other for the last expensive toy on the shelf. They trample cashiers. And on Cyber Monday, they clog the cloud with bank transfers and bank transfers. Guys. The first thing I need you to understand, before I explain the boycott. is the following:

In my opinion, the worst thing about Black Friday and Cyber Monday is that it's almost all lies. And American people only THINK they are getting AMAZING shopping deals. My people, you are being done SO DIRTY.

There may be some genuine sales. But MOST companies actually do this:

Deals Vary by Product: Some categories consistently see good discounts (e.g., certain TVs, headphones, and small kitchen appliances), while others might have less impressive price reductions.

Price History Matters: Retailers sometimes inflate the "original" price leading up to Black Friday to make the sale price appear more dramatic. Consumer groups have found that many items are available at the "Black Friday" price or even cheaper at other times of the year

That's pasted straight from my Google search, so you know.

This year has been hard.

Inflation, a broken economy, and a terrorist for a President. People have suddenly lost their food stamps. They are already stressing about how they are going to pay the bills and feed the family on normal days - let alone afford the upcoming consumer-based holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. People are worried their insurance premium payments are going to double or triple.

So most of us won't be able to afford insurance, which will make us get fined come tax season. Medicine prices have shot up, especially for life-saving medications. Insurance companies have dropped many of them from their coverage policies. And our cost of living for food and basic amenities is going up, and up, and up, and up... while our wages stay the same.

Higher education comes with crippling debt, and we have a shortage of Doctors in our country because NOBODY can afford medical school lately. And these college degrees they keep telling us to get aren't making a difference.

So, the American People Have had enough!

This boycott that we are planning isn't just for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It's for the whole week. For the week of November 24 through to December 2nd, we are boycotting Corporate America.

The “Blackout the System” campaign calls for a nationwide economic protest from November 25 to December 2, a period that includes Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Organizers are urging participants to halt all spending, except at small, local businesses, to demonstrate their collective economic power. The movement extends beyond a simple spending freeze, also encouraging people to refrain from working and traveling during this week. The stated goal is to peacefully disrupt the U.S. economy, forcing policymakers and corporations to address the movement’s concerns.

How and why boycotts like this work.

First, the sudden labor shortage cuts into distribution and production. The lack of people to work in the factories can be catastrophic to distribution deadlines and fulfillment promises. Without people to man the front lines of cash registers, stock the shelves, and clean and maintain will cause damage directly to their banks. ESPECIALLY if there is a sudden halt in demand. When people stop purchasing things, companies stop making money.

The death strike to an extended boycott like this is quite simple: A corporation loses a LOT of money, everyday to sustain the business.

No income + no demand + no supply = CRIPPLING LOSSES

Its basic economy. No buyers, no laborers, no business. And corporate America does NOT like to lose money. The longer the boycott, the bigger the devastation. That is why this boycott is being extended to the full Cyber Week, and just before Thanksgiving. In the most PROFITABLE time of year *thanks to their slow deceptive inflation that causes these sales to be really bogus* a week-long boycott of labor and purchasing would be basically like punching Corporate America in the balls.

Why does it matter?

Corporate America has our government in its pocket. And they can afford to shell out millions of dollars a year to stop the legalization of marijuana and keep higher education far too expensive to afford. They can hike the price up on basic needs and life-saving medications. They can afford to donate enough to build a useless, unnecessary ballroom - but they CAN'T afford to fund SNAP for low-income families? They can fund submarines and rockets that explode, but they can't make our wages higher so we can AFFORD to feed our children AND pay the bills?

Our politicians are too concerned about the bribes, kickbacks, and 'donations' that Corporate America provides to them.

If you don't understand what I am saying, I'll spell it out: essentially, Corporate American Greed is running our country. NOT our political leaders, who are obviously easily bought out. So we need to slap Corporate America in the face and remind them that they need us MORE than we need them. It's OUR money first that we worked hard to get - and we don't have to give it to them.

"I can't NOT go to work for this boycott."

Nobody expects people to give up careers for this - but if you're a part-timer at Walmart, Amazon, Target, or any other major American Corporation, your job is replaceable. And that is exactly the point the American people are trying to prove. In times of economic distress, not showing up to work for a boycott can feel like you are sacrificing a lifeline.

So if you TRULY feel like joining this boycott will endanger or disturb your safety and security, we don't expect you to do that. Nobody in their right mind honestly thinks that hardworking people whose income holds their families together should give up their jobs. Just participate by not purchasing anything from a corporation, and intentionally shop with local mom and pop businesses.

But if you're a cashier, a janitor, or a shelf-stocker, or ANY other job that can be easily replaced: You SHOULD. If it's a dime-a-dozen job that you're in "until something better," now's the time to go for it. Every person who participates in this mass boycott of work and purchasing helps.

We don't need them - they need US. And it's well past time that they remember that.

Spread the knowledge. Join the fight. Let's reclaim our country by making the BIGGEST peaceful protest this world has ever seen.

There is no official website or anything for this movement. It's a sentient organization that is moving organically. Here are the instructions on how you can participate - and exercise your RIGHTS and your FREEDOMS to make a change in this country for the better. For you. For your family. For everyone.

This is the best way to peacefully protest nationwide. This is the best way for Americans to exercise their right to make a change in their country - without resorting to violence. Keeping ALL of us safe - but still making our message LOUD AND CLEAR.

How to participate in the boycott:

Boycott Targets: Specifically, companies that have caved in and given up against MAGA pressure and dismantled or scaled back their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs:

Amazon, eBay, Temu, and any online and major retailers such as Target, Walmart, Disney, Starbucks, Chick-fil-a, Best Buy, Costco , eBay , GAP (including Banana Republic, Old Navy, Athleta) , Kohl's, REI , Applebee's , Olive Garden , IKEA , TJX Companies (TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Marshalls)

Just so you know, I am an eBay store owner, and a lot of my income depends on eBay. But I will not be listing anything that week. I will be affected by this. But I am still doing it. And I still encourage EVERYONE to participate. Sacrifices must be made in order to make a difference.

I would still participate even if the boycott lasted longer than a week.

You get the gist, right?

Workers with disposable corporate jobs who can safely and securely afford to risk their employment should not go to work. The No Work Boycott is specifically for corporate employees - do not leave your small independent business employers hanging.

We are supporting NON-corporate businesses during that week. Which means any shopping you need to do that week should be intentionally targeted towards local, small, independent stores. There are plenty of grocery markets that are not corporate-owned. It's a great chance to try new places. Consider doing your shopping at these small American citizen-owned businesses for Christmas, instead of at non-human entities that get treated better than real people during tax time.

No Shopping online. At all. NOT EVEN ON ETSY PEOPLE.

Do NOT "put-off" purchases for a later time. That completely nullifies your participation if you're just going to give them money again as soon as the boycott is done. That is why shopping at LOCAL businesses is so important. You aren't just delaying your purchases, you are successfully taking those purchases away from corporations.

Spread the knowledge. Rope your friends and family into it. Help us get this country great again - the PROPER way. The true American way.

Remember to be kind. And I love you all very much. We're gonna get through this.

great piece, and What's so crazy to me is the periodic "black Friday" sales that just crop up. I also resell, which is soooo important, but has become infiltrated with a huge proportion of new drop shipped items as well. There is no way to escape it entirely.
