Opinion: Honest win or Cheat, Buttigieg lost Iowa.
It’s been just over 24 hours since the close of the Iowa Caucus and we still don’t know the full results, or the damage done to this election and our Democratic process. At the center of the issue is an app, developed by a little known company called Shadow Inc, the Iowa Democratic Party, and Pete Buttigieg, and I believe that now is the time for Pete Buttigieg to step down to try to save the 2020 election.

Abortion and The Argument from Personhood
Legality In America 38 states class a foetus as a person in criminal and tort cases and attach additional penalties to cases where a mother and her unborn child are injured. 29 states do not have a minimum gestation time and confer personhood status regardless of the foetuses stage in development. In theses states if you punch a woman that’s one week pregnant in the gut and kill the foetus additional charges can still be filed.

Understanding Intersectionality
It isn't uncommon to hear people compare the discrimination that they face in an additive manner. For example, if you compare someone who's part of two minority/"othered" groups against someone who is part of four, my additive standards it could be argued that the person who identifies with the four groups faces more discrimination than the other, therefore the person with only two labels is "more privileged". I've seen charts on various social media platforms with titles along these lines for people to find out how much discrimination they face.

What Your Favourite Democratic Nominee Says About You
So the first caucuses are almost upon us in the race to decide who the Democrats will pit against number 45 in the Presidential election later this year. In fact, voting in a few states have already opened. Iowa will be first up for the candidates on Monday 3rd February, so not long to go until we find out for definite who our frontrunners in the competition will be. In the meantime, to stop you stewing over poll after poll, let’s take you through who’s still in the race (as many have pulled out way before the first caucus) and what your preferred choice says about you as a person – but not politically speaking.

The politics of material wealth
The politics of material wealth. Political ideology has been replaced by material possession. While most democratic nations have a party political system and while in most of these nations, one party is often perceived as being for the wealthy while another is for the poor; these distinctions are no longer valid. With the small number of tragic and horrible exceptions, the terms poor and wealthy are now more relative than absolute. There is not mass starvation in western democracies. There are those with far more wealth than the average but even that average have more material possessions and a greater level of materialistic living standard than all but a very few had 100 years ago. Is this an improvement? The answer must be a positive yes, since real starvation and abhorrent levels of deprivation have been largely eradicated, in modern western democracies.

What does Separation of Church and State Really Mean
The phrase “separation of church and state” is one of the most commonly used yet least understood political sayings in all of modern vernacular. Many Christians claim this separation as the unrelenting law that took prayer from public schools, tore down crosses from public parks and seeks to removed America from being “one nation under God”. Others see it as an open minded and helpful gesture that ensures equality for a nation of immigrants that is a melting pot of global cultures. For both good and bad the term “separation of church and state” has been touted in more wrong ways that correct ways.

Article of Fact
Gun Violence and Video Games In recent news, over the last decade, gun violence and mass shootings have been an almost everyday occurrence. With many people wanting to have some form of gun control, we have to stop and think about all of the other outlets of where this violence is coming from. My theory, along with many other believers, is that gun violence and mass shootings directly correlate to video games with younger adolescents.
