"Midnight In A Perfect World"
14DEC2020; 2315, MON. Dear Fam, Tell me, Brother Man, ever heard the adage "the money don't really make me whole"? My first time hearing it was likely somewhere around the time that the beautiful and talented rapper, Noname (formerly known as Noname Gypsy), decided to open up her debut mixtape with that line way back eons ago on 7JUL2016.

Dear Pandemic 2020
Dear Governor of Nevada, How are you doing today? I am writing to you today because I have a few things I would like to address regarding the pandemic we are all living through. I have high hopes that this letter reaches you personally so my voice is heard as I share with you a good portion of my background here as a Nevada resident and then I will get to the point of my letter.

Somewhere in the Middle
First let me introduce myself. I am 48-year-old mom of five boys. I was born in Virginia to a Navy sailor who served his country with honor. My mother was from Florida and my dad from Missouri. When I was about 2 and a half, we moved to the Missouri Ozarks. I was raised to respect everyone regardless of sexual orientation, race, religion or political beliefs. I have fought a mostly silent battle for many years. It seems my beliefs that fall into the political realm do not fit with either of the major parties. This leaves me stuck in some very uncomfortable positions. Most people of my acquaintance fall rabidly one way or the other.

A Visual History of the #YangMediaBlackout
Back in June of 2019, I tweeted about the latest egregious example of MSNBC excluding Democratic Presidential candidate Andrew Yang from their ongoing coverage of the 2020 Presidential candidates. There had been previous examples, but that was the worst up to that point because they had photos of all 20 candidates who were going to be in the first debates, and instead of including Yang as one of them, they included someone who wasn't even going to be there. I then started to add each new example as a new reply, and that ongoing thread has now been covered over and over again with each new example as a source of entertaining absurdity. It's been covered by traditional media outlets like The Guardian, Vox, and The Hill. It's also been covered by new media like Ethan and Hila Klein of the H3 Podcast for their two million subscribers.
